He committed a crime on a US government website. What if he was a terrorist or something bad? As an American, I don't think he should be tried in our courts because I don't want my tax dollars paying for this.We would spend millions of dollars and then he would go to our jail and we would have to spend more millions. What the US government should do is hire him as a consultant on how to fix the web site to make it hack safe or at least talk to him about it. I'm sure hes got a good heart.
@worcesteradam83 why i n hel l are not uk citzen nor up in arms about this, he did violate anhy alw of our to od he must be "physical in bodiys in or under US juridical periods! in our territorial professorial if germany got t alw that i can critze a german offical can i be expedicated to germany .. hell ya cause that what kind of shit my govt loves even thought i never bee n out side of america dam m this is studpid
how come its ok for them to hack into our private lives and loose or sell the info and rip us off and take money to pay banks and fight wars we dont want but as soon as a civillian follows suit we are soon held accountable. one rule for us another for them.
@NeuroParadise i m glad he did it ! dude tha the fucking triuble now the govt got toom any damm secret hidden from the america tax payer most of it not used for the befn it of the peopels it usd for private financial interest under the guise "Nationwide security "
Either way, I don't think he'l be going to prison. I reckon he will serve a few years and will then be given a job. The same thing happened to the guy in 'Catch me if you can' with cheque fraud. He has skills they can use, and I reckon thats why they want him.
Well actually the film I was refering too being 'Catch me if you can' was based on a true story...so no, its not only a movie.
The Mother is not spouting bullshit. If an American broke into a British defence computer I very much doubt the Americans would send the defendant with hardly any proof, if not at all. Oh, and given the fact the guy has mental problems, he'd probably be given a few years tops in a minimal security prison, not treated like a terror suspect.
Minimum security prison? Oh, we don't have those over here. We just execute the child criminals and send everyone else to be raped in jail by black gang members.
People also receive no medical care in our prisons, people with psychological problems are kept in general population without medication and the deck is completely stacked against every defendant.
At least that's what the mother seems to think.
You all can fuck off if you think we should accept this guy being "punished" there.
You miss the point entirely. If it were the other way around, the American courts would not extradict someone to us. Im meerly pointing out the injustice. The guy was looking for UFO's and has autism for christ sake, he wasn't exactly a threat. If you want someone to blame, blame your own retarded Government for not putting passwords on their computers.
hire him as a security tester. my god

The mother's hate towards America is enough to make the Americans want to get him. I know I do.

People with disabilities shouldn't be discriminated against. Send him to the U.S to stand trial and send that Chakrabati woman too.

Fact: You must be 18 years old to be executed in the USA. We do not execute "juveniles".
What on earth does execution have to do with anything? Gary is not facing the death penalty. What a stupid woman.

He doesnt know the first thing about hacking. Technically what he did isnt even hacking.
He said there were loads of other people there with him, chatting amongst themselves, how come the US government doesnt care about them????????.
It was an open network.
If you are charging him with being a terrorist get the CIA to rendition him and torture him in Guantanamo then try him in a military court.
Otherwise f.off america.
We will prosecute him here, our way.

TheLordRose,
This isn't a movie and the Department of Defense doesn't like being fucked with.
Also, the mother is spouting bullshit and needs to check her fucking facts before maligning an entire nation.
What do the British expect to happen? How would he be punished there?
