it's only illegal if you don't put mufflers on it. it also depends on the city/county noise ordinance.

hate to tell you this, but you could have gotten the same sound by cutting out the stock resonator and running straight pipes. That's what I did to my '05, and it sounds just like that...

sounds good.  it's not loud at idle, at low rpm it;s quiet but when smashing the throttle the exhaust has a nice smooth grunt. great choice!!

it not the 5" aggressive borla exhaust he has the 2.5" less loud

I own an '08 300C AWD w/stock exhaust and it is a great engine. The 300C is like a Ferrari(crazy?) in that the engine defines the car. The 3.5 V6 has some punch but the 5.7 is in another league. Smooth and docile until you nail it then hold on. This video is neat but I wish the driver didn't let up so quickly. Safety first but when the 5.7 rows through all 5 gears it sounds expensive! BMW this. LOL

The Transmission in the 300C is manufactured by Mercedes.

This is how an exhaust video should be done. Thanks for showing the exhaust profiles on idle, normal acceleration, and WOT. I'm not certain which exhaust I want to get but this is really the way I want to hear it. now the only thing I would like to know is how it sounds in the cabin. I'm looking for a sleeper exhaust system that will only make great sound on WOT. For the rest of the time I want it quiet and unnassuming. Great Job!
