  • i got ubuntu latest versian on mine but none of em special effects

  • so 3d acceleration driver are already installed when u install linu4one? o u need to instal manully?

  • yes, u must only install compiz fusion or ccsm

  • how did u activated compiz??

  • @ema1023 i have installed compiz fusion and then i have activated it

  • che veo q anda medio lento este linux o acaso es la grabacion?

  • It's the registration that occupies much ram. my acer aspire ona has 512mb ram, and only OS occupies 200mb ram and the registration puts stress the adpter and accordingly the ram. however with 1gb you don't have problem with the registration. i have try on win 7 with 1.5gb ram and the recording was much slower.

  • di, ma è il compiz fusion disponibile nel gestore pacchetti synaptic o devo installarlo via terminale? se si, quale versione?

  • no installa, sudo apt-get install compiz compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported compiz-fusion-plugins-extra libcompizconfig-backend-gconf compizconfig-settings-manager, ovviamente devi disattivare netbook remix altrimenti vanno in conflitto fra loro

  • fuck ubuntu windows rules!

  • my acer aspire one has a 120GB hard drive , and the only reason i want to have linpus still on there is incase i mess up installing linux4one and to refer back to if my other mates with the acer one need help with theirs. and is the installer bit exactly the same as normal ubuntu or is there any differences?

  • ok. no there aren't differences

  • hi, i have been looking all over youtube for a installtion walk through for linux4one and have not come accross a single one what so ever would be please make a walk through on the installtion process , or please help me with the partitioning of my acer aspire one hard drive to install linux4one as well as still having linpus (i want a dual-boot system) many thanks, duaneo

  • why do you want linpus? on linux4one all hardware works good and it's best then linpus. however if you want to do a dual boot system, you will have an hd more big because acer aspire one has an hd of only 8Gb. have you an hd more big?
