The legato idea in the second bassoon part is not played correctly... but other than that it is beautiful.

Fantastic performance.. Prokoviev is my favorite woodwind composer, he understood the possibilities, nuances and personalities of each instrument, BUT, it requires great musicians, like this bassoon quartet above, to accomplish this. Bravissimo !

This is usually played on the piano, but Prokofiev did score it for four bassoons and it sounds quite effective this way.
