I just saw the show and it was awesome. I only wished that I saw it with the original cast. The one I saw had a guy playing Gary Coleman instead of a woman. Other than that, not much change when it came to the Gary Coleman parts.

it was freakin amazing, and really not THAT bad. heck, i went with my grandpa! sides, they suggest it for 13 year olds cuz it teaches you lessons for when your an adult. :) just get a really cool relative who has a sick twisted sense of humor (one who finds puppets doing the nasty hilarious) and go secretly... heh heh... "No, mom! We went to see Shrek the Musical!"

Ahaha, They don't suggest it for that specific age, they just say it's good for teens if they're mature cause it's all about real life.

But you're right, alot of mother's wouldn't aprove of the things in this. (I know that mine definitely wouldn't!)

I really think that you're lucky to have seen this!That's one of the things that sucks about living in Canada,you don't get any good shows come to small towns. Boy, I wish my mom would let me go to New York, but she wont :( "It sucks to be me!"

I was only in New York last week and I wasnt sure if I would go to Avenue Q, Chose to not go because I'm 13 and I went with my mom sooooo yeah It would've been really awkward at some parts (Ex: You can be as loud..?) I still got to see Johnny, though in Shrek the musical!
