  • I'm not American either, but prohibition is the oposite way to liberty. If you ban guns, you create slaves; if you ban drugs, you create drug dealers; if you ban prostitution, you create pimps and proxenetism, and so on.

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." (Benjamin Franklin)

  • FLIP FLOPPER !

  • How the fuck is this clown winning, and whats with all those zombies clapping every time he stops to take a breath?

  • Please, please, PLEASE! Foreigners who think they understand how things work over here... Just shush. When you make anti-gun laws, your trying to protect people from criminals with guns. But what actually happens is you only take them away from the law abiding citizens. Then you only have criminals with guns. Which is way worse than allowing everyone to carry a gun where ever they want. There are so many deadly crimes that could have been avoided if there was only ONE person with a gun.

  • PPFFHAA! Can you give the microphone back... what a douche.

  • @jdm11060 The moderator, was taking the microphone from the questioner that had made "several" questions for his "question". Romney was making a joke that the "audience" that could actually SEE the questioner, immediately understood. Its hard to understand that on a video, so don't take it wrong. He wasn't telling the questioner to give the mic back.

  • Why is Santa Claus there?

  • Um, I think Romney is 100% right, and he owned the question. Romney is hands down the best for the job.

  • I hate this guy.

  • Wow. All thes dip shits, retarded to clap for this guy because they have a hard on for a Republican............FREAKING START ASKING THE REAL QUESTIONS AND STOP YOUR DAMN CLAPING EVERY TIME THIS ASS HOLE OPENS HIS MOUTH.........thank you.. He don't support the Second Amendment HE SUPPORTS HIS OWN VERSION OF IT. Better wake up.

  • in NO way was romney owned on any of those questions... lol

  • yeah but what will insane be when people start talking "crazy" in regards to the tyranny of our Government.

  • @NYCStoopTV exactly

  • This guy is just another Bush.

    RON PAUL 2012-2020

  • Mitt "Flip-Floppin" Romney

  • You folks are idiots, Brainwashed by the NRA. You people are convinced that ANY control measure is a step toward disarmament. Background checks/Brady Bill is OK. Why are you threatened by it? Gun control has NEVER prevented me from a gun. I own several weapons and have a carry permit. Without past gun control laws it would be legal for children, drug addicts, convicted felons etc to own full auto SMGs,suppressors,sawed-off shotguns...etc

Dangerous things should be responsibly regulated.

  • @craigdamage Why. Criminals can get them off the streets without any checks whatsoever. There IS already a law preventing children from getting them. There IS a law preventing convicts from getting them. Why do you always need MORE laws?

  • @hardstyle905 Yes. I said in my above post "past gun control" which means criminals and children are supposed to be prohibited. My point...these are GOOD gun control measures from the past. Future laws could be good too.You are correct,a criminal CAN get a gun w/out any checks. He is committing a felony and can then be arrested. Even the most delusional liberal doesn't believe gun control will magically CONTROL ALL GUNS FROM CRIME!

  • criminals don't buy legal guns, and the insane aren't crazy enough to by a registered weapon

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • if u are tired of mainstream media, if u want real news that isnt controlled by the sneaky corporate media elites and international current events the mainstream media ignores then please visit CHANNELEDKNOWLEDGE:ORG.. that is where i go for my news.. u wouldn't believe the stories western media ignores..

  • How can anyone take this jackass seriously? It's Ron Paul or nobody for me.

  • @JulietBravoZulu

    couldnt agree more

  • @JulietBravoZulu How can you take Paul seriously, the guys is a radical that will jepordize the security of America and our allies.

  • @Warrensmentor Haha, yeah, whatever you say.

  • @Warrensmentor O yea give me one reason why Ron Paul is a "radical". Also how would he threaten the security of America and our allies? Give me one example if you can...

  • @JulietBravoZulu he is a jackass

  • @JulietBravoZulu I hope you don't stick to that, or else we're going to have 4 more years of someone worse than nobody.

  • do we want one big United States of MASSACHUSETTS in 2012? Comon.... as if your even considering this clown. its RON PAUL OR BUST!

  • @bZberetta cant thumbs up that comment enough.

  • Interesting, Mitt supports 2A, and his defense of the Mass SemiAuto Rifle Ban, he talks about the compromises that "reduced" the restrictions on other gun sales. Yet, Romney and others know or should know that rifles are used in less than 3% of all gun crimes. The banned semiauto rifles are used in less than 2% of all gun crimes. He mentions NICS, yet still wants more restrictions. NOT getting my vote.

  • Fuck you Romney!

  • Sucks that Romney is prolly gong to be the only alternative Barrack Husein Obama.

  • @david1982129 I'm going to let "gong" go as just a typo, but you misspelled the first and middle names of the President of the United States of America (might want to stick with "BHO") and "prolly" isn't even a word.

Please get a basic education before you share your "thoughts." (Unless, of course, you're one of those charming people who think literacy is "elitist.")

Before you get the wrong idea, I'm no fan of Willard, either.

  • Romney is so condescending. It's like he's so confident that he can bullshit you, that he does it while laughing you off at the same time.

  • So they could enslave all of us with less effort is the real reason to push this bill through.

  • Its like this. I have never commited a crime, I am mentaly stable. I will own what ever gun I want, Carry a gun on me when and where I want, and liar from this countrys shit hole government is gonna tell me otherwise. I only peice of paper I need to say I can carry and/or own a gun is the constitution on the USA.

  • @cntryboi223 Thank you for volunteering to serve in a well-regulated militia, as the second amendment requires.

(It's in the first thirteen words of the one-sentence amendment - you know, the 13 words you guys like to dismiss as just the world's longest typo) Why can you only seem to remember the last 14 words of that sentence?

Again, thanks for stepping up to serve...

  • i cant stand seeing people like romney and behind them is the american flag , u traitor romney

  • I'm voting for

    RON PAUL!

  • the 2nd amendment is about protecting us from a corrupt government and allowing us to bare our arms against all enemies foreign and domestic and too keep a well regulated and armed militia to the security of a free state.

  • @free00to00ryhme you're right, I always BARE my arms. I never wear long sleeved shirts.

  • @sturmraist50 Nice to know you think our rights and freedoms are a joke.

  • By banning guns, you would not be preventing murder, but you would be disarming innocent people instead. Think about it: if you are a criminal intent on shooting some people, would you even give a half a damn about gun control laws?

But of course, gun dealers should always do a background/mental health check before they sell a gun to someone. And please, keep your guns away from your kids.

  • @foojuice101 what is wrong with you americans? More gun control - less legal guns - less guns in the systen - less illegal guns - less murders..

Is that so hard to think of?

  • @Sthlmsodra87 Patently false. No where on earth has gun control had the net effect of reducing firearms deaths, or gun crime in general. As a matter of fact, in all but 9 counties of the USA, the crime rate is actually lower than any gun banning nation on earth, with the possible exception of Japan, which has low crime rates in general.

  • @nov284 Yes it does, In sweden. Thats one example, I know there are others. We have massibe gun control and regulations.. so basically. The only one who own guns here. Are hunters.

We have less than 100 murders a year. And about half of them are with no guns.

  • @Sthlmsodra87 It's been proven that nations with homogenous ethnic and racial citizens have lower crimerates in general. Another example you're looking for is Japan. Again though, it has nothing to do with gun control and everything to do with their society. In Japan, for instance, the Yakuza would leave behind some guns/contraband when they knew there was going to be a police raid so that the police wouldn't be embarrased at raiding an empty building.

  • @Sthlmsodra87

It wouldn't be so difficult to accept... if only it was true. It's not. Gun control in violent societies typically causes crime to go up, not down. As more and more states became "shall issue" states, crime actually decreased. The reason for this is guns equal the unequal. Just think about this for a second: It's difficult to victimize someone who has a gun. But crime debates aside, the ultimate reason for guns in the US is to protect liberty.

  • @Sthlmsodra87

    I'm not American.

Now, by banning the legal manufacture and sale of guns, you would be opening up the black market. If you are a criminal, you would not give a fuck about the laws and you would obtain a gun through the black market.

Also, murder is not only limited to using a gun. Plenty of people use knives and baseball bats to kill people. ANYTHING can be used as a deadly weapon, so does that mean we should ban everything?

  • @foojuice101 You're right, but an assault weapon is bought with the specific intent of "assaulting" another personand it can kill a lot of people in a short amount of time. A machine gun is much more dangerous than a baseball bat id say

  • @stinkermuffin214 It appears you fell for the anti-gun misinformation campaign. Machine guns have been illegal for civilian ownership since the time of prohibition due to their use by gangsters like Clyde Barrow. As to the purpose that someone might have to purchase a firearm, it is really irrelevant. Some people, like myself, like to go to the range every now and then and make some noise and put holes in paper. People should be able to purchase anything they can afford.

  • @satanicmechanic86 Thanks. I can afford top-quality pot.

  • @stinkermuffin214

    Well, obviously. XD

But, just say some criminal, with the intent of shooting some people, buys a machine gun from the shady guy under the bridge. Now, said criminal goes to a building and starts opening fire. If there was a gun-ban, the innocent people inside the building will have no means of defending themselves and they'd just have to run or die. However, if they had legally obtained guns and all closed in on this guy, they could take him down.

  • @stinkermuffin214 Or to protect our Constitution from an out of control Government that has tyrrany on its wish list for all of us.

  • @foojuice101 Oh but that "black market" would involve grandmas and doctors and preachers and single mothers, etc. The ATF and the FBI wouldn't have a prayer. If only the govt. knew what they would be creating. For the most part people refer to their RIGHT to defend their self and family with firearms but if they banned firearms sales then people would begin talking about offense.

  • @foojuice101 Thank you for your comment. I don't know where you're from, but with your views on the second amendment, you would be an asset to America.

  • @tchorses67

    I'm actually Australian :)

And I would be glad to go to America and knock some sense into the populous but since stupidity reigns high and mighty in the US of A, I'd prefer to stay here lol

  • @foojuice101 What a coincidence! We prefer that you stay there too!

  • @Leshutchens4

I'll gladly stay here. Our politics is screwed up, but at least our conservatives can actually be taken seriously

  • @Sthlmsodra87 Are you equating "less legal guns" in AMERICA with "less guns in the system"? Are you kidding? If you have ammo, a pipe, and a hammer you have a GUN. There are books that show how to make submachine guns with regular tools steel tubing. People make "guns" with pens. All a ban will do is create a glorious black market of regular firearms and a whole new culture of firearms "designers". America isn't dead......too bad for you it seems.

  • @FoundInBetween I'm not American, though I wish the best for you country. I have spent 3 years on a highschool in the US and it would be a shame to see it fall apart.

  • @Sthlmsodra87 Your support means alot and I certainly return best wishes to you and yours. As far as being "American" it is clear that it is a worldview more than a birthright. America's internal enemies don't have the guts to revolt and create a new country and write a new Constitution. That is what they should try to do because they are NOT AMERICAN. As you seem to realize "America" means something and attempting to corrupt the Bill of Rights is UN-American and treasonous. It IS a shame.

  • If you're not doing anything illegal or don't have a criminal background you have no problem obtaining a gun. If you're worried about these laws effecting you, does that mean you have a criminal background? You morons will be the same ones whineing when a member of Al Qaeda, or Mexican drug cartel obtains a gun. You can't use founding fathers words in the same context of current times.

  • @MrSethg17 you think any type of gun laws are going to stop all criminal groups from owning guns they dont legally own in the first place?

  • assault weapons ban is retarded, background check is okay though.

  • When it comes to violent crimes, bare hands and knives take more lives than any other mode of violence.

If guns kill people pencils misspell words.

Ron Paul 2012 - 2020 because it is going to take that long to right the wrongs!

  • So in the eyes of ole Mittens Romney here, lobbyists outweigh the hard and fast laws of the Constitution.

  • The Framers weren't stupid or negligent. If the Framers wanted background checks on those buying or owning guns, whether insane or criminal, they would have written that into the 2nd Amendment.

  • Where's the NRA on this anti-gunner? Somebody's paying them to keep their mouth shut...too many must have slept around on their spouses...seems to be the best way to own a politician these days, pay a high price hooker to jump in the sack with them and keep evidence...no that doesn't happen...hmmm

  • @150grnballistictip

I think Romney is one of the least offensive of the 2nd Amendment un-believers. I know that Bachmann, Cain, and Paul won't come for my guns, but the press made certain to get rid of Bachmann and Cain.

  • MA. has the stongest gun laws in the country and near fenway park their is a large banner that say in Large BOLD LETTERS: Maine and New Hampshire Register Your Guns! Unregistered guns in MA. is a automatic Felony! 2 yr. imprisonment!

  • Mitt Romney said the right to bear arms was for hunters!? There weren't grocery stores back then... Of course the right to bear arms was to defend yourself from government! RON PAUL 2012!

  • mitt is a moron.

  • @flamedrag18 lol Mitt is part of the elite and probably has a genius level IQ ie 130 or above. just go back to flippin burgers and let the adults talk

  • @jonmcd13 funny, I don't "flip burgers", I fish on a crab boat in Canada, big difference. "probably has a genius level IQ" bullshit, he likely can't figure our what 2+2 is. he's more of a democrat than a republican, thinks the US Constitution has no effect on modern laws when this is when you need them the most. and I am a adult and know how a government should be run, respecting the law of the land and not trying to escape a debate where you are WRONG.

  • @kampuskop. Amen. Although in the Republican Primaries you should vote for Ron Paul, a true defendant of the 2nd Amendment. If Mitt Romney gets the Repiblican nod, you should vote Independant to mess up the votes

  • I honesty hate Romney, he has the car salesman smile... Can't be trusted

  • @werno175 so did obama people are so

    easily sold

  • @werno175 uhh you shouldent judge a person on their smile. I say a little bit more on his ideas...

  • haha, on govermnet tyranny; "I dont believe that applies to today".....uhhhh it applies more today than it ever has!!!

  • @dhawzi09 the only thing that changed is that they sneak in the back door now instead of through the front door with these sneaky "business men/ politicians.

  • So...as long as we compromise our rights away, no harm done right? I'm afraid not Mr. Romney. The rights of the people are supposed to be inalienable, not something that can be reduced, minimized, or toyed with; no matter what political lobby agrees with such regulation. There is no such thing as half free.

  • @TheGunslinger91 We have a right to own property but it is legal for local, state, and federal government bodies to put zoning regulations in place to constrict the kind of things you can build or have on your property.

  • @cmprice11 Which is also unjust.

  • @TheGunslinger91 Not unjust- just unpopular. Just because you don't like a law in the Constitution, it doesn't make it unfair, 'gunslinger'

  • @cmprice11 - Just because you want it to be in the Constitution, that does not make it so. The Constitution says nothing of zoning regulations. It does not grant the federal government that power.

  • @cmprice11 Glad to hear you like my name, "cmprice." However, you are mistaken in your comment. Zoning is not addressed in the Constitution; in fact zoning laws have been challenged on constitutional grounds in the past. The only part of the constitution that addresses government dominion over the use of real property is the issue of eminent domain contained in the fifth amendment.

  • @cmprice11 Furthermore, you seem to be resorting to the classic, "that's just your opinion" defense. It's not that I just don't like certain laws, it is that I believe in the unalienable rights of our citizens. Compromise is alienation. Either you believe that our rights are unalienable, or you don't. It matters not whether the issue is property, firearms, personal choices, or what have you; if you allow your rights to be compromised away, there is nothing government can't take from you.

  • The 2nd Amendment is not about hunting

  • @MrDevong Yes! It was about the people being able to protect themselves against the Royal Militias and Army which was ordered to raid houses by the King.

  • @cmprice11 More broadly it was about the natural right of a person to defend themselves from anyone even their own government. Ive heard Romney say that weapons that are particularly deadly to the police (Agents of the state) should be prohibited. The directly strikes at the founders intent for the 2nd amendment.

  • Mitt Romney PWND that guy. If you think crazy people should have guns you're wrong.

  • @jonmcd13 thomas jefferson... george washington...and many of the big name founding fathers were all crazy... but your right some people dont vaule a human life. and shouldnt be able to"carry" a gun

  • @daynehudek I don't think our founding fathers were crazy... by that I mean Schizophenic, sociopathic, and a few more mental diseases. they were putting forth new ideas which people could have called crazy at first but then when it works they stop talking.

  • @jonmcd13 I suppose the State then gets to decide who is crazy?

  • @MrDevong or licensed professionals... we have those too.

  • @jonmcd13 If you guys think someone who has voices telling him what to do and some of those voices are saying KILL THEM ALL! should have the means to kill them all maybe we should have your heads examined.

There are some people who should not have access to dangerous things just like children.

  • You cannot pay any attention to what a candidate says he will do, you need to look at what he has done in the past. Mitt Romney, as governor of Massachusetts made it so you cannot own anything more than a water pistol, he will do the same for the United States of America if you elect him as President. Ron Paul 2012!

  • who really encouraged you to sign the bill ur boss. What a chump he cant even make his own decisions

  • These people clapping our so dumb they dont even know who there voting for. NH live free or Die I thought they would know better

  • Why does the older and by older I mean the 40+ crowd fear freedom so much. Please vote for Ron Paul and lets get are freedom back

  • People with non-violent felonies, are not aloud to hold firearms and vote. That is a bunch of BS. Some people make mistakes and dont hurt anybody but themselves. They are really over-punished. Its one thing to without weapons from violent criminals, its another to withhold them from peaceful ones.

  • @ambigroove I have a felony conviction (DWI) that is 6 years old..I served my sentence and paid my dues...yet because of that conviction I will never be allowed to own a firearm? That is just insane to me, I do not see how ANY gun control measures can benefit anyone. This country was founded by traitors, that is crime in this land and last time I checked treason was a FELONY. I am not a danger to the public but it sure seems like the folks in Washington are. Socialism at at the door

  • NRA = N egotiate R ights A way

  • If Ron Paul Supporters mean little or nothing I guess I'll Leave that part blank like I did when Dole ran...

  • I will not vote in this election.

Mitt Romney can go to hell.

  • @kampuskop I didnt vote last election and I ended up regretting not voting against Obama. Anyway, i will vote for Paul if i have to write him in. To me a "wasted vote" is more the same crap either of the parties do.

  • @kampuskop You are voting for the Status Quo

  • How was Mitt owned in this video clip (?) - what he said sounded good to me.

  • Gun Rights my ass, I lived in MA for a year and found out I had to do all sorts of paperwork and licencing just to keep my rifle and shotgun that I've had since I was 14. We're not talking about a handgun or an assault weapon, a single shot, break action, 20 gauge shotgun and a .22. I grew up in NY, so I thought I knew what restrictive gun laws were like, little did I know Romney had MA on a worse lockdown by far.

  • i'm pro second amend., but romney was right here. nothing wrong with background checks. this is not anarchy.

  • @TeslaDRay Ron Paul is pro-gun rights as well, right?

  • @TeslaDRay I agree w/ background checks but not in limiting CHOICE to what law abiding citizens can buy. All recent firearm legislation limits choice. And further more did the people ask for these bills? NO.

  • @jaeLAX23 I disagree with both of you. The question was about defending yourself against a tyrannical government. How can you do that if they know where the weapons are? You fail to notice the difference in Liberty and Anarchy because of your fear-based programming.

  • @OriginalTexcalibur Yeah, your right. They could require me to register my weapons for just being guilty of a speeding ticket. But like you said, the population has fear based programming. It's mainly the 40+ crowd. Younger people are more open about paul's 2nd amendment position. He won 50% of the iowa poll. It's the older folks who fear freedom.

  • @TeslaDRay If you were pro 2nd amend. you would understand that background checks for the intent of being able to track the guns is unconstitutional. The 2nd amendment was designed to protect us from a tyrannical government. As you should have noticed by now with the new ndaa law, we are under full fledged tyranny. Snuck in on new years eve so no one who isn't paying attention could notice! God help us.

  • @hotroddy74

not to track guns, just to see if the person using them has a criminal record. would you want an ex rapist or such to have a conceal permit in your town? as for TRACKING guns, well i don't like that idea. reminds me of Red Dawn (movie).

  • @TeslaDRay I think you have a misunderstanding of negative liberty

  • @MrDevong

    Nooooo.

  • I dont trust Rommney at all

  • The second amendment has everything to do with hunting or self defence. But it is strongly implied , but not directly stated, that citizens owning guns is to deter a potentially "out of control" government. If the government start "goose stepping" in the streets and acting totally out of control, the people can overthrow it. That is what our Idiot leaders are scared of , they get to far out hand , yes the people can remove them, by force if necessary.

  • Ron Paul!

  • So if you let us screw everybody's daughter will give them the appropriate birth control to help them out with situation. Therefore everybody wins. Got to love leftist semantics...

  • No one vote for Mitt Romney!!!

  • You can own a car under 18 when i was 17 i had two cars titled in my name its not a contract to own a car. You can also get car insurance under 18 which is a "contract".

  • I'm a LIFE ENDOWMENT MEMBER OF THE NRA. I'm anti gun control and I hate 99% of democrat politicians. I'm a staunch conservative. That being said, I support a background check so whackos can't buy a gun. The crooks will just get a gun off the black, I know and that's another issue. However background checks don't infringe upon us gun owners. Gun BANNING should be outlawed.

  • @ColtDeltaElite10mm How doesn't it if the government are the ones who say whether or not you have a clean history?

I think we should create a system between gun owners and share it only between gun owners, not the government since the government are the ones the Second Amendment is intended to protect us from.

How come people aren't given background checks with cars?

The choice should be up to a gun dealer to sell, not the government.

  • @ColtDeltaElite10mm

Background check is just another form of registration. An infringment on the 2nd Amendment.

Look at history and the current route this country is taking. It's pretty much following Nazi Germany.

And since the governmnet is in debt to a private bank, who is the government serving?

  • Wow. Mitt is a schmarmy toolshed.

  • Hey Mitt, what part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand? Goofball!

  • @EliasCrowe

What part of "well organized milita" dont you understand, stupid?

  • I wouldn't vote for this assclown if I had too.

  • @EliasCrowe Yeah, but a lot of people are. =(

  • According to recent reports MORE than 1 in 10 people in the US are on anti-depressants (ADs), people over 40 are more likely to be prescribed ADs, and in the past few years ADs varied between THE most and third-most prescribed drug. By the way, ADs are increasingly prescribed to people suffering chronic pain. Pain management doctors have found some ADs have a synergistic enhancement effect that can reduce or eliminate the need for using stronger pain killers. SHOULD be a good thing, right?

  • Taking an anti-depressant for ANY reason (even when it's NOT for depression)? Long-term or short-term? In some jurisdictions with medical reporting requirements, just automatically kiss goodbye to the 2nd amendment.

  • And...let's not forget abuse by political figures reportedly manipulating "I felt threatened" laws to harass gun owners in Quartzite, AZ. Or, the widespread door-to-door confiscation of legally owned guns after Hurricane Katrina "because of the emergency" when the need for self-defense would be MORE likely, not less.

Chipping away at the 2nd Amendment. Brick by brick, year after year.

  • And...they strip rights of people ACCUSED by ANYONE of domestic abuse...and FALSE accusations are not uncommon in child-custody cases. No investigation...no conviction...just an ACCUSATION...and their 2nd amendment right is taken from them by a single judge. And, I've read about anti-gun family judges using their position to do this...and the individual is never even put on trial for the charge.

Again...see where this is going? It opens the door to widespread abuse by activist anti-gun judges.

  • Governor, problem is they don't JUST go after "insane" people. Courts find ANY anti-gun doctor declaring person "at risk" or "impaired" (e.g. on insert COMMON medication here). They strip rights of people who have "paid their debt" to society in full...and people re-classified by legislation as felons because they had 3 MISDEMEANORS in total in their lives...and many people commit technical misdemeanors every day but simply aren't caught. See where this is heading? Slippery slope? Foot in door?

  • Gee. Doesn't the 2nd Amendment say that the right to keep an bear sporting goods shall not be infringed?

    'Fraid not, Mitt.

  • Yea the only problem is governments tend to label those who fight back against them or challenge the status quo criminals or crazy, it would be like giving the rapist the ability to decide who gets access to the means to defend themselves form him.

  • @darkblood626 Bingo.

  • MITT ROMNEY = GOLDMAN SACHS' plastic boy

  • ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

    PAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUL 2 0 1 2

  • the govt is bullshit. i was in the marine corps and i was trained with weapons used weapons. when i came home i took the saftey class and then applied for a gun permit. i made one stupid mistake now they are saying i cant get a gun permit for life. wtf

  • Once a upon a time I believed in background checks but not anymore. These background checks are just another way for the govt. to keep tabs on us and control us. The feds have no right and no authority in conducting background checks.

  • @MattFoleyMotivation do like i do buy it from a friend or a gun show problem solved no background check no annoying ass federal government breathing down ur neck and even though i cannot legally own firearms and if anyone asked they are my dads i have some guns (:

  • @thegreatkurt2013 I appreciate the advice. The next opportunity I have, I will buy from a gun show.

  • Brady bill to make sure people who own guns are mormons.

  • I dont see how romney was "owned" here. His answer was logical and valid. I agree with the questioner that the 2nd amendment was included primarily as a defense from tyranny. As to background checks, gun ownership needs to be balanced with public safety concerns. I disagree with the nutbags who feel all you should need is money and a pulse to own a gun.

  • @jteutulsr smart and insightful comment, thx

  • @jteutulsr so why should anybody with money and a pulse be able to buy a car. cars kill far more peope in the US every year than guns do. please explain your logic.

  • @motopilot0919 Before buying a car you must first reach legal age to be bound by contract (usually 18), have gone through driver's education and have passed both a written and driver's proficiency exam. Familiarizing yourself with the most basic tenets of law would help before you engage persons of superior intellect in debate.

  • @jteutulsr WOW "superior intellect" okay then genious let me correct you on your post. To buy a car in the united states you need to be 18 years of age that is it. You do not need to pass any test or do anything, you can legally own the vehicle. there is nothing stoping you from driving that vehicle, other than the "law" that says you need a license. yet cars kill more people each year than guns do, so tell me why is a backround check required for a gun and not a car.

  • @motopilot0919 To FINANCE a vehicle you have to be a licensed driver of adult age (18) so that you may legally enter into a binding contract. You also have to be licensed to drive before a dealer or other lending agency will give you an auto loan. Assignment of title to a vehicle also represents a binding contract which you need to be 18 to sign. Most states have laws restricting vehicle ownership to licensed drivers. Learn the law fucktard.

  • @jteutulsr again you dont have to finance a vehicle to buy a car you are clearly too simple to understand this concept.
