Wow that pilot was too low to be hotdogging like that. 45 degree turn in low altitude is just like blowing out your pilot burner in your heater or your gas stove.  It means engine will stall which is probably what happened here.

When this flow is disrupted, the wing no longer generates lift, and the airplane falls from the sky. The steeper an airplane turns, the faster the speed at which it will hit that critical angle of attack and stall. A 60 degree banked turn increases the stall speed by over 40 percent.
