The whole Nirvana thing was about non-expensive stuff. Bleach only cost £300 ($600) to produce, and Polly was recorded on a £10 ($20) guitar.

Buying all this would cost you roughly, £2000.

Kurt used the CROWN power amp just a few times, because it blew up a lot because of the hot output of the MESA/BOOGIE Studio Preamp. So his technician decided to try it with the CREST 4801 PRO power amp which they called "the amp that never dies". So, if you want the real KC sound use the CREST 4801 PRO power amp! :-)
