  • Holy Jesus..

A black man "invents" wooden extension cables because there's no other materials and end up on TV :/

It should end up at thereifixedit.failblog.org

  • Thats a very very very bad idea!

  • Very dangerous man right here...do more research young man. reason stuff overheat is coz of overloading which kenyans do all the way.

  • this idea of using wood should not be set aside just because of the risk of catching fire as in if it gets soaked, or maybe overloading the wire lines on the walls. just like Historical inventions, we should always expect overwhelming challenges on any new inventions. i think its now time for kenya or God forbid, another "rich" nation to do further research in honor of Njoro, our kenyan Hero and also get him involved.

  • Njoro, I feel your pain. You didnt do more physics coz of fees, but this doesnt giv you the freedom to risk others lives. Socket outlets(where ur cables of say 9 apps are connected from the wall) have a maximum current level. Pulling more electricity than this max cause the wires (on the house wall) to heat up and start a fire. Next a house burns up due to 'electrical fault'. AM sorry but involve experts in this area otherwise innocent lives are in danger.

  • A good spirited idea of invention, though but i think there is not enough research put into this idea.what happens if water enters the wooden socket and starts soaking on the shelling?.what has the k.b.s done on such new invention before it went into the market?

  • I rarely comment but I am really impressed by this young man; this is the spirit that we need in Africa. Technology customization and invention. Best wishes my friend. Invention is not only for the west alone.

  • lets us encourage people with something to offer instead of putting them down. We blacks are gud and contented at being consumers. Hebu checki what white people do. This young man would have bn assisted big time. Bur sisi wengine wako jealous juu siwao wametoa idea. Nandio tuko nyuma. We do not even sing our heroes, we put them down. How can we better his idea instead should be the question. For those who are putting points to improve on, thks. Wanaocheka tafadhali do a reality check.

  • OMG, This is a disaster in waiting. Ask any Physics teacher. Dry wood is a bad conductor but WET wood is a good conductor of electricity. The reason why they are made of plastic is coz plastic DOES NOT SOAK(ABSORB) water, but wood DOES. so if part of these cables get in contact with water, wood would absorb and cause fire. This is different from plastics. SAFETY FIRST!

  • hizo mbao zitashika moto buda woiii... kama ni mbao umerecycle ni sawa ... njoro uko na talent lakini... kaa ngumu

  • @meganSARGS na wakizidi ku sema ati oh enviroment oh enviroment, hio ni kukuwa danda. look @ oil producing nations, so kati ya kukata miti, which una weza panda zingine, na those rich nation producing dirty oil enviromental-wise, nani anafa kuambiwa a conserve enviroment. its all about business, hao enviromentalist ni lugha tuu, hao ni ma broker or rather beneficiaries wa plastic cables NOT "enviromentalist."

  • Njoro! You are the man.

  • i think they are buying cheap extension cord that burn or they are over using the electricity which is making the extension overload

  • What would Wangare Maathai say? she would say well done young man. well as much as we need to plant and conserve trees, we also need to use them. paper, charcoal etc.

  • I think this is a good idea. I don't know how much wood this guy uses compared to house construction and firewood and charcoal. This guy is doing a good thing so haters thigeni korera.

  • Men! might be poking Wangare maathai in her grave.wood and fire a sign of alarm

  • This is a bad idea...with a loose contact or overload the wooden extension will easily burn..where is the Kenya bureau of standards

  • Easing economic burdens of consumers at the environments expense which will bait back through farmine. What would Wangari maathai say?.

  • The downside to the plastic extensions is that it burns but doesn't catch fire. The wooden extensions might catch fire easily and thus have enormous consiquences. Hope it works. Kenyans are innovative, we need people like him.
