I think there's sensors at some certain height before you go down the first fall in the dark, cause I put my hands up and it also said sit down 3 times even though I was sitting down the entire ride.

I remember the recording as "Sit down over there!... sit down!" But it would happen even if our arms were raised, like on the last rise we'd see those green sensors. So if all of our arms were raised it would reset to all it sensed and pull out this Max Headroom effect: "Sit-si-sit-si-sit down over si-si-sit down over there! sit down!" It was a crack-up!
