  • 8/half months to land on Mars. About Aug. 5

  • How long will it be for the rover to reach mars?

  • "seeking clues to the planetary puzzle about life on mars"

Is that not incredibly cryptic speech? That makes it sound as if there indeed IS a puzzle on mars that scientists are trying to solve. Why even say it like that. Maybe Richard Hoagland is right.

  • 1'43'' - again this little pulsaiting thing on the right side of the screen.

  • see the video (o bahia tem rabo preso)

  • Why are they still using such primitive technology? Why are they cannibalizing our resources for this demonstration of low tech propaganda power? Why don't they pick up their garbage?

  • SUPER HAPPY FACE 8D

  • hope it succeeds its mission!

  • Man i cant wait for it to land!!!!

  • Patrrico Russia's economy is worse lol why you think there's so Many here in the us

  • What the hell fuels it all the way to Mars?

  • @ChicagoProdigy fuel.

  • @ChicagoProdigy A course in elementary physics would serve you well.

  • @njdevil281 HAHA awesome reply

  • @ChicagoProdigy Good question. Everything on Earth that flies through the air is subject to just that, the air. The particles that make up our atmosphere create a resistance against objects that push back against things that move and slow it down. That's why things like planes need a constant propulsion forwards.

In space, the particles are so far apart, that there really is no atmosphere at all, so things moving forwards aren't encountering much resistance and can continue moving forward.

  • @ChicagoProdigy That's like asking "what fuel's a cannon ball all the way to its target?" The space craft only needs enough velocity to escape earth's atmosphere and gravitational field, which only requires a few minutes of thrust (acceleration). After that, the only fuel that is needed is to slow the craft down for a safe landing.

  • What a forest of cock grabbing trolls. Russia and America are friends. Deal with it. B)

  • RT/kremlin propaganda

  • @DforDIckhead2100 That is an American rocket built by American contractors lifting an American probe to Mars. Y u troll so hard???

  • Че за хуйня

  • @mur200729 пиндосы отправили очередной марсоход на Марс

  • expensive mission to space fucking rule.. its time to evolute faster because here on earth we got a too much problems

  • @YtubeEmoticon I agree.

  • And we are BACK in business! Go Mars Curiosity!!

  • USA sends rovers to Mars. Russia/China, make more space junk.

  • @alkimst13 Russia keeps American ISS astronauts alive with resupply ships launched by Roscosmos in Kazakhstan. Countries don't mean shit. This is a GLOBAL scientific community.

  • @artofnick not just american astronauts, other countries astronauts too. Curiosity - headed to Mars. Phobos - space junk.

  • @alkimst13 THERE ARE NO ASTRONAUTS ON THIS ROCKET!!!!

  • @artofnick nothing gets by you, huh skippy? russia sends rockets to low earth orbit to resupply the ISS. and yes, astronauts/cosmonauts go along for the ride. And you mean there were no astronauts on the Curiosity Mission? I'm going to run outside and scream that news to the world!!! Obviously, you ain't a rocket scientist. fucktard.

  • 99% it will expolode as always :)) or it will fail on Mars, NASA loosers

  • @SzpakBarwnyPtak First off let me fix that trainwreck up, "I say there is a 15% chance it will fail on Mars." Since it has already blasted off it wont be able to blowup. Also use spell-check, and check that grammar. :) <- that is how to make a smiley. Good day. ;)

  • @SzpakBarwnyPtak Seems like ur mad bro that ur shitty country cant do this successfully and if you are from the us jump off a bridge you'll be doing evolution a favor.

  • @SzpakBarwnyPtak Why you jelly? Deal with it Russian Probe Fails like a piece of junk?

RT loves the negativity and Trolling so much they should come up with another title like this

Russian Probe Launched To Phobos, Mars' Moon, Fails because their scientist sucked! Come' On You can't be this much of a hypocrite, SPREAD THE HATE!

  • I would like russia and the us to collaborate more in space travel.

  • NASA kicks russia's ass again!!!!!!!! Maybe if russia asks nicely NASA can show them how to make stuff that doesnt always crash land back to Earth!!!!!!! How's that search for mars rover phobos grunt going russia...or should I say how long til it crash lands back to Earth???

  • @HerculesRockefellerr Who gives a shit about mars anyway? does it help us people to know if aliens have been there? no it dosent, you americans send up very expensive rockets while your economy is going DOWN hill.

    Best Regards.

  • @ThePatricco Russia gave a shit about Mars til the phobos grunt crashed and burned

  • @HerculesRockefellerr Ok dude, we all had our fun laughing at Phobos Grunt, especially when some Russian general tried to blame the failure on us somehow. Now it's time to remember two things.

    1. Seeing as NASA's record on Mars missions isn't exactly perfect, there's no point in crowing until the rover is driving on the surface.

    2. The Atlas V rocket being used here actually has a Russian-built engine for its first stage (RD-180). Feel free to look it up.

  • @2IDSGT Stop trying to ruin my immature fun at russia's expense

  • @HerculesRockefellerr Sorry ; ) Rock on dude.

  • 10 bucks says next august that thing finds life of some kind

  • Good to see - finally, a U.S. decision with NASA I can agree with. Retiring the shuttle without an immediate replacement left me shocked and appalled - at least we're doing something to continue human exploration into space.

  • @PipeBombTom < Its good to see NASA continue with space exploration but I think all major economies(G20?) should pay some of the cost. After all it's for the benefit of all. Unfortunately, lots of money is wasted on the wars and crime fighting which could go into space exploration.

Young engineers also get to use their creativity in this direction and spin off technologies improve quality of life on this planet.

  • I like NASA's super zoom rocket tracking video cameras

  • Penis

  • @TheGabrielle3210 the single most insightful comment on here.

  • @Lemmingologist tehe

  • wow they actually managed to get it off the ground and really fast too i wonder how much they'll improve in the future

  • @duncan7599 how the hell are you spelling "no" incorrectly? there is no way autocorrect is turning "no" into "know". you did it twice. you have a lot of explaining to do. A LOT.

  • @leloodallasmultipass Do you want a explanation of my spelling? Read and check this. KISS MY ASS YOU ARROGANT POMPUS FUCK.

  • @duncan7599 ..."an" explanation...

  • well an otherwise ill fated year has ened with a good thing at least.hope it gets there and lands safely,i for one do not belive nasa knows whats really there.its a very big open book.this is the most important mars mission since viking.the globalist elite scum are poised to strike hard and take down humanity whatever happens though. so go to infowars.com and follow alex jones.and good luck curiosity!

  • hey everybody type in living on mars on youtube. the video "Living On Mars - National Geographic Channel" shows how its actually possible to live on mars someday through terraforming.

  • The last ones of the dark cabal leaving earth and tries to make a run for their colony on mars but they don't stand a chance gettin there ;))

  • NASA is the only space organization thats made history in the last 30 years. Funny how RT hasnt reported on NASA's DAWN program.

  • Bleh wanted to see the fairings being blown off.

  • porque esse video está na pagina inicial do youtube brasil?

  • @GLEITON1976 ...boa pergunta.

  • More space junk! I'm for exploration, but gather up your trash!

  • If JFK didn't do what he did for the NASA where would we be? We also have to wait for technology to evolve. Lower tuitions in science, math and astonomy would be a great incentive to further studies in that direction. How bout those Lions last night.

Plese don't comment on my comments.

  • every scientific breakthrough starts with a simple hypothesis, a probability, a theory.

Is there intelligent life outside Earth! Certainly. Why not come in contact? Precisely for this reason: they are intelligent beings. After all, we're only human

  • The man first conquered the sea, then came the heavens. The space and just a natural barrier in the development of human beings. I do believe that there may be something out there and that we gradually increase our borders. So we got to the point in evolution where we are because there are people who can see possibilities beyond the imagination of "mere mortals". If not for the human curiosity would be stuck in time. After all, every discovery,

  • GAIA

    Oh lovely Gaia, Mother Earth,

I love your oceans, land and sky,

    your people, plants, and animals,

    and me, myself, and I.

    Oh lovely Gaia, Mother Earth,

    your suffering makes me cry.

May I ask you one more wish?

    Oh Gaia, please don't die.

  • @eastariel

    love you too

  • I'm willing to bet NASA has an underground station on Mars and that they're experimenting with teleportation and that they're going to open a gateway to Hell pretty soon.

  • You don't have money for the basic things, but you can launch new missions that cost millions.

Change the moneysystem, stop the downfall.

  • Nice video....

  • fake and gay!

  • Just another NWO, illuminati vessel sent to low orbit to hide the gold they stole from Gaddafi. What do you think the Apollo missions were taking over there? When will you sheeple wake up.

  • what could this be captured with? Like there was something heading with that side-by side, or how the movieclip was made?

  • wow...space...2011...future?

  • @SixFootTallMidget You're obviously looking for a cop out. That's like saying I don't believe in evolution because of Piltdown. Just because an idea is related to a scandal doesn't discredit everything about it. "Climate gate" is red meat for NASCAR conservatives; the fact that they gave it a "gate" just goes to show how it is intended to target simpleminded folk. In reality there has been a much stronger effort put forth by big industries to discredit the effects of climate change.

  • Think the launch is exciting, you should see how they plan on landing this thing via a skycrane. No airbags here.

  • More phallic objects sent into space...only to fizzle out and fall to the Earth.

  • @lumeriam you're a pervert ;)

  • NASA is so full of shit they know what is on Mars, and inside of Mars.

  • @lumeriam Who knows maybe a Doom 3 agenda might happen(that was the game based on Mars).

  • @lumeriam appreciate the hard work they done at least fucking scum....ungrateful whining bastard

  • @lumeriam HAARP?

  • Respond to this video... It's a UFO to Martian's

  • @lumeriam stfu kid

  • @lumeriam Well what is on mars and inside mars . Can you make it clear for those of us which dont know

    thx

  • @lumeriam Ok so what is on mars then and can you show me proof?

  • man, I can't help but think about kerbal space program

  • YUP, IT'S ROCK.

  • @robtheslayer ... it is not money any more, it's confetti..

  • @navtel oh my federal reserve note, thats a discussion for another day. seems like worthless scraps of paper sometimes.

  • @robtheslayer That's because it is. Toilet paper is more valuable than money. Money leaves your ass green when you whip it! Youtube for "Zeitgeist Moving Forward" it's a great documentary.

  • @boumar19721972 i will check that out.

  • Good luck Curiousity, we will be counting on you.

  • I still think is a wasted of money. Because in the end, NASA does not tell us the truth, to the people that pay for there projects. Us tax payers

  • @navtel Paul McCartney is dead too.. You're a nutcase.

  • @bibbler227 ... i may be a nut case but you are gullible as hell.. 19 terrorist, the warren commission, wmd's.. the US government loves people like you.

  • @navtel That's nice little boy!! Yes, it's all a big conspiracy!! I'm sure you are going lead us to the TRUTH through your "research"!!!!! Tell us about it later. I think I hear your Mommy calling you now, - she wants you to go eat some supper!!! Bye Little Friend!!

  • @bibbler227 ... it should be dribbler no bibbler or maybe drooler.. take you head out of your ass.

  • i miss you old rover lol

  • This is kinda funny, the russian probe is still stuck in orbit, but the curiosity is already on its way to mars. lol

  • How fast is the probe travelling relative to the earth?

  • @nucleartrout, the spirit of exploration and wonder that drives science to go to Mars is the same basic human spirit that invented agriculture, inspired people to build ships and explore the world, embark on the pursuit of knowledge eventually responsible for medicine, global communication, and the very computer that has enabled you to post such short-sighted comments. The study of Mars is all about better understanding our world and how to ensure our ultimate survival. Respect Science.

  • @SleepyInWallaWalla whatever....we will never live on Mars and it's a waste of money to explore it. I'm just saying the money could be spent elsewhere...nothing will ever come of exploring a barren wasteland that it takes 9 months to get to. could spend that money here on planet earth to find new medicines to heal terminal diseases.

  • Curiosity killed the cat.

  • who gives a crap if there has or is life on Mars we need to start concentrating on life on this planet. Use the money that was used to build this rover and rocket to feed the hungry, cloth the needy, and put roofs over the homeless. What a stupid waste of money.

  • @nucleartrout Do you still have money? If you feel that strongly about it, get off the internet and YOU go help the povs.

  • @nucleartrout Boo Hoo!!! Please quit exploring and give every bum in this country an handout... Boo Hoo

Tell ya what Mr. Liberal, if you want to give your hard earned money to bums, you are free to do so! I want my tax money to go the science and exploration of the universe.....

  • @bibbler227 Yea that's a smart idea give you hard earned money to the exploration of a barren planet that will never ever benefit our lives here on earth..and i am not saying give bums a handout but money could be spent for the better of humanity not the better of nerds that have nothing better to do than shoot their little rockets to another planet to go ohhhhh look a microorganism...meanwhile we don't have cures for terminally ill people on our planet but thank God we know whats in Mars dirt

  • @nucleartrout Oh Booo Hooo, poor humanity!!!!!!! Who I give MY Hard earned money to is MY business, not yours or any other piece of socialist scum that is now infesting America!!!!

Have a nice life Little Liberal!!!

  • @bibbler227 Dude quit getting so upset i'm just messin with ya.. I really don't care about how money is spent I just post stuff on here to see how passionate people are about certain topics. Actually the launch of the rocket was pretty badass. LOL I mean honestly I don't think anything will come of exploring Mars but the pictures are pretty awesome that we receive back here on Earth. Who knows maybe some day they will find an alien waving at the camera on one of our rovers... : )

  • @nucleartrout they would probably pepper spray the alien!

  • @nucleartrout

    NASA's 2011 Budget = $18 billion

Department of Defense Budget = $700 Billion

Clearly NASA is the bloated waste of spending here...

  • @blitzk that's 18 billion that could be spent to help humanity not explore a barren planet that will never help us in our every day lives.

  • @nucleartrout just so you know, helping humanity and funding NASA aren't mutually exclusive.

  • lets hope E.T gives them the finger on the cam..

  • The final bluebeam satellite going up. The staged alien invasion is soon.

  • @fawkUtube wtf are u talking about .?

  • @fawkUtube the conditioning in the media and television would certainly give your suggestion some weight imo.

  • @fawkUtube Can you explain what makes you think this rocket is actually a bluebeam satellite?

  • @dcopymope haha just talking shit you never know though the media conditioning is there and the people are ready to accept it as truth.

  • 13 Roscosmos engineers disliked this video

  • Isn't Earth beautiful?

  • giant? its not that big

  • Prepare for flat earth theorist.

  • For Science! :D

  • @EpicMealTimeHater i know more then you, your comment eliminated :) have a nice day too.

  • I totally agree with you SnugglePuma, but I guess we are so fixated on Mars in our space program that its easier to jump on the Mars bandwagon and speculate. Anyway not only Europa, but Encladeaus with its active guysiers(misspelled I know --sorry) and warm ocean beneath its icy surface.

  • Wait wait wait.....I thought they shut NASA down?

  • @crailberry haha i was thinking the same thing

  • @crailberry no they shut down the shuttle program

  • Going to Mars after destroying our planet

    Search For the series

    "THE GREAT DISASTERS"

  • Money is just paper, overated crap, knowledge of our existance and physical life is power beyond comprehention, wake up people, if all of the world focused their efforts into this matter instead, we would of found other life by now and changed the way we live for ever!

  • Welcome welcome to mars..

  • What cools the reaction in the rover?

  • Reading these posts, I continue to be amazed how a point of view/belief system can be justified from several sides. Short answer? Someone is right and someone is dead wrong.

The arrogance of man is beyond words now. Truth? Not found on youtube, NASA or any silly opinions here. History well records man's greatest achievements were preceded and founded upon a belief system; not science. Science is the arrival; not the beginning or depth knowledge. "He who has an ear, let them hear"

  • @maugustyniak twat

  • @FrozenMulletConques Yep, that's what your inbred redneck dumbass crawled out of. A filthy english one at that. Kinda like your bad teeth, you brits have baaaad STD-ridden cunts. And you polluted the entire world with your filthy redneck race. Glad to see the idiot edneck aggregations you call "societies" you created falling appart. Hmmm...now that I think of it, mullet applies to some stupid brit really well. Only stupid trashy anglos would come-up with a haircut this bad.

  • @maugustyniak Look at you going on a rampage insulting every 1.. whats up daddy rape you when you where little ?? stop using my language if you hate us so much if it wasn't for us English you probably wouldn't be sitting where you are today so fuck off.. judging by 1 of you other comments " AHAHAHAHAH! Look at the little redneck piece of whit trash run for cover " in which you spelt white wrong (dumb ass) your most likely black and american am i close ??

  • The way I see it if there is such a thing as global warming its just a way for mother earth to repair her self. Figure if the oceans are warming up then the water will evaporate faster and there fore create more cloud cover and more rain fo the Sahara desert and Africa. It will be a lush green planet before u know it. Quit burning oil get on a bike walk etc. There is something ironic about getting into a vehicle to go to work and all u do is sit and idle the gas and time away.

  • Europa anyone?

  • my friend lives in mars say Hi to him frm me

  • This is awesome.. I can't wait until they send people to mars. Even though it may be like 15 years away. I think first they will send a rover/probe that can land on the surface. Then gather soil samples, rocks, and then come back to earth.. This stuff is so cool !

  • Mars needs women angry red women. They need oil so they are exploring Mars for oil dont u know. NASA.gov is a realy neet place to spend some time people. Enjoy it there is a lot there. Please dont comment on my comments i am looking for thermite.

  • What is that at 1:41 to 1:44 on the right side of the screen? Debris? LOL

  • @7evensky surely Debris loool ;) that was a nice ufo

  • @7evensky It's a UFO ... a type of spacecraft-shaped ball

  • Nice launch!

  • Am I the only one that thinks, "wow what a beautiful rocket"

  • @OMGitsCHICKEN Im afraid youre not alone my friend.... i agree..... and its so awesome how they launch it you knw!

  • whew! I thought im the first to know this.. turns out im the LAST... well it doesnt matter anyway, what matters is that we humans have made another queching for our curiosity!!

  • Dear NASA,

Please let me know when you send a mission to Mars, I would love to see some true color photos. I have an old cell phone with a camera on it that you could use that gets better photos than yours!

  • @thesilverjunkie2 you're right if you look close it looks like the fakest piece of shit...

  • @thesilverjunkie2 HUH!? The resolution on this video looked fine considering it is on Youtube. Later in the video the camera is focusing on a moving object several miles up in the sky. Let's see your cellphone camera take a photo of that!
