Curious question: what's the difference between 에 and 애 as well as 오 and 어? Because they sound really similar to me. Thanks!

@pearlgreytea so basically:
에 makes the same sound as the 'e' in the English word "SET" Romanized as 'e'
애 makes the same sound as the 'a' in the english word "SAY" Romanized as 'ae'
오 makes the same sound as the 'o' in "SO" Romanized as 'o'
어 makes the same sound as 'u' in "MUCH" Romanized as 'eo'

the video is good and clear but there isn't any romanize words please do so , can't read hangul and some of us is not good with the hearing

Then why do you have two ways of writing and pronuncing it?
There must be some small difference ^^

@HeavenPauline b/c some ppl prefer speaking it faster and to do that the shorter form is better. it's like how ppl shorten their words in online texting. why say thanks when you can say thank you?
