It's a fact that he's not playing exactly the same what's in the song, but i like doing my own stuff, improvising, at the level i am on, so why not? But the most important fact is that i came back to listen to it again, because it's simply just enjoyable to listen to. And to me it's more important than being over flashy, and complicated to play. lol, I've got three cymbals. a crash and a ride. if you can manage to let the ride wash out, it works best instead of riding on the crash, you know? i used to have a 4 piece set too, but i switched up to a tama rock star 5 piece set. lol, I'm embarrased by the name, but shit, they're great drums. i don't think twenty cymbals is necessary, but whatever man, it works.
