I think you are right, since she has some dancing experience even though it is just tap it is something they expect more out of is it fair no but that is the way the game is played she always has to bring her "A" game and know the neuance of the dance. She can't just do the steps she has to play the character as well. I think that is what they want as well. Dance the dance and play the part too. They want the complete package and if she does that she has it in the bag.

I think they mark mya harder than the rest because she is so much better than the rest which is fair because she is a dancer. Anyone that thinks Donny's dance was better than Mya's don't know anything about dancing but it is a tv show and maybe they cannot let mya think she is going to walk it.
