I love the design of the A5 but it doesn't make sense to pay 43k for a 4 cylinder 211hp engine.

@bk11121988 No it doesn't. It looks like Mercedes joined this team of weird marketing them self. They no longer offer a 238hp M/T C300 with a 6cyl. For some reason they now have a C250 with less hp at 201 and no choice of MT..and yet they lifted the price. I'm not sure what these companies are thinking. I love the way the A4 and A5 bodies look, but I really do think that if you want fun with a German car, you have to take the hurting and buy the upper-models like S, M, and AMG.

I have a 2011 335i, but I also like this car alot! The engine sounds similar to mine. Only thing that I don't like about this car is that the sunroof doesn't completely open. It only tilts.

You can get the same engine in a 2005 S4 for about $20k, save some cash and still get a wonderful V8 and AWD. Put away $10k for repairs etc and you're golden. See Top Gears test of the 2004 S4 vs Subie WRX and EVo 7 here on youtube, Mr Clarkson loved it.

@atami210 The manual was GREAT! The clutch was light, medium-short shift and quite smooth. It, honestly, took a little bit for me to get it smooth. I was quite jerky on it for the first day. The back seats are o.k. I put my parents in the back and my gf in the front and we drove a little bit--not a road trip but around town was fine (surprisingly!)

@juukame There haven't been a lot of cars that wear that kind of blue well. The previous generation Mazda/Mazdaspeed 3, Toyota FJ Cruiser and the Porsche Cayman do wear it well. I wasn't entirely sold until I saw a Sprint Blue S5 in person. My jaw dropped and I think I may have drooled a little bit :) That said, I still stop in my tracks when I walk up to my car after it has been washed.
