@EmmaJane9813 - the ironic thing is that this is pretty close to the original jazzy version that Gershwin wrote. If anyone 'ruined' this song, then surely it would be Janis Joplin, because it's barely even recognisable as the song Gershwin wrote. But I think both versions are pretty amazing, so
