You idiots! (I'm not hating I'm making a point) halo reach Spartans can't run for long nor move as fast. Cogs run faster, and what can they do? Get into cover! Gears of war 1,2,3 - halo 1,2,3 ODST, reach, combat evovled
in my mind due to those factors i stated below it would be an epic match but i think the odst would have it only because of the maneuverability and the speed in which they run is better then the strifing of the gears. also they have better armor, and radar which gears do not have. its like the difference between ww1 and ww2, trench warfare was great but was overpowered which would be shown in the epic clash between these two.
deadliest warrior style matchup between these two would look as such
close range, gnasher vs halo shotgun, even
mid range, lancer vs silenced smg, gears
long range, longshot vs halo sniper rifle, halo
explosive weapons, gears frag vs halo frag, gears
special weapons, snub vs magnum, halo
and the combined x factors for these warriors.
gears has 3rd person, but odst got radar and more movable. odst, more disciplin, gears, more killer instinct. armor is a factor, when all these are put in.
cog cause they are just amazin and they have to deal with harder enimies eg beserker brumacks and reavers not to mention boomers grinders and they also have to deal with lambert AS WELL they prown the odst
I think im going to have to go with the COG because, so what if the ODST have super tech and stealth on their side, who needs stealth when the enemy is coming at you with brumaks and corpsers, you need sheer strength to take on the fugly montrosity's of nature, I mean what the hell is a brute gonna do in comparison to augustus cole?!?!? ODST....Silenced Weapons, Smart-Link Scopes, Superior Training and Combat Physique, Astonishing Helmet Tech, Effective Armour, and are able to fight as individuals easily. And there are loads of ODST's, they just don't get dropped in hundreds because they don't need that many...
Cog would probably win due to their firepower, brute strength, technology, tactics, and the fact that they do this on a daily basis, the ODST are only called into battle on a emergency, sooooo yeah.
i say cog Regular solders their basically the same thing just the helmets and odst all they have are tech suit besides the cog out number them i mean really their was a video of thousands of cog have you ever seen a video with thousands of odst/marines no so ya
ODST has better training and better equipment. It would be a good fight though.

ODST's have space tech and in gears of war the COG have nothing in space but the hammer of dawn so odst have a better advantage from above
