Hey, Keith. I like what you say about Topo maps & aerial photogrammetry. As a Professional Land Surveyor, I use these sources in my day to day work, so it's easy for me to see how imperative their use can be to scouting for big game animals. Step 1 for shooting a giant trophy whitetail: Win the lottery so you can afford some descent private land. Most people don't have the property to hunt and that is fact. All the scouting and tips don't mean crap if you don't have private land. I'm lucky to have property, but the average guy is sitting out there with every other idiot in the woods. I am so tired of "trophy" whitetail magazines,movies,TV shows because they are NOT reality. Public property is too molested to pattern a big buck
