I don't think Ryan hates the director, you have to remember that the man was doing his job. He was simply the guy who was supposed to keep the show running for as many seasons as possible. Everyone is suing everyone, his job was to keep ratings up by any means necessary. I am sure that the cast understood that. It is sad they can't re-air this on comedy central or something with these scenes in the actual episodes.

Not only that, but less than half the sketches were taken from Whose Line is it Anyway.
