I didn't take away anything. The fans embarrassed themselves by calling a 17-0 team over-rated.  You still haven't defended this because you can't. I contend that KSU is good, but the fans just aren't used to it and it shows.

The K-State Student section loves pissing people off. And to be honest, I think that's why the older fans love em. I really hope ku earns a number one ranking before they come to the Octagon of Doom, it'll be nice to beat two number one teams in one season.

Scooby I agree, we 'Cats fans need to act like we've been here before... even though none of the student section were alive at that time. However, we do own Texas: football, basketball, hell, even NBAF went to K-State haha.

And I'm not sure we 'Cats fans were exactly going for "class" when we slowly became one of the angriest fan-bases in America. Suck it up, the fans are just as intense as Frank and how our team plays.

Thank you--there should be some solidarity among Big 12 fans and I'll be the first to admit there's a good chance KU could lose to KSU, Mizzou, and Texas (if not Iowa State as well). It's an amazing conference this year. Save the deriding chants for out of conference teams. Texas will be looking for blood if they get another chance in the tournament.

As a KU fan, I have nothing against the K-State players, and I deeply respect the Texas program, but what I think is a complete embarrassment to college basketball, are the K-State fans. Chanting 'Over-rated' to your opponent when you are a top 10 team playing at home shows the complete classlessness and overall stupidy of the fans. And the 'We Own Texas' chant? Just unbelievable. No class at all.

I couldn't care less about college football. The fact is KU basketball fans are much, much more savy than their KSU counterparts.  In all my years of watching college basketball, I've never heard a crowd at home with a top 10 ranking yell 'overrated' to their opponent. Even Bobby Knight mentioned how silly it was. AND, by calling your opponent overrated, you're basically saying you beat a team that's not that good!! You should be bragging that you beat a good team, not an overrated one!!

LOL! So KU has two fan bases within itself? The classy ones follow basketball, while the less desirables follow football? To freshen your memory, a large section of the KU fanbase would yell, 'Rip their fu**ing head off' at kickoff. Don't take my word for it, Google it. It was a well publicized major source of embarrassment for savy / educated KU fans (obviously your not one of them).

'Try thinking before posting.' Okay, I'll try to remember to think. Anyway, riddle me this....if a team is 17-0, and has beaten Michigan State and scored 103 against North Carolina, how can they be over-rated? The K-State fans somehow felt a perfect record and these convincing wins was not deserving of a #1 ranking. Is that logical, yes or no? Should Texas have been ranked #11 behind K-State who had lost 2 games? How about, 'think before chanting?'
