I had a bitch who used to hide her pups and was told from a vet and a couple of breeders its because the mum is suffering from post natal depression

@melith678 They are great with kids, my family rescued our first Shar-pei when I was in the 3rd grade. Even though she was abused and neglected she was very gentle and loving. They are very loyal to their family and protective of their house. Burglars will definitely think twice before entering. They are good with strangers too if they are socialized when they are puppies. I highly recommend this breed :-) Let me know if you do decide to get one.

@melith678 They're good with kids, but their one downfall is that they get lots of skin infections. I had a Shar-pei beagle mix and she still had her share of skin infections. Other than that she was PERFECT!

He's probably hungry is all... I've whelped puppies. They make that sound almost constantly though. They could be sitting and just yelp like that. So it doesn't really mean he is in distress or anything. He's just "testing" his voice. ^^ But it is sorta cute though I will admit I wouldn't put a puppy in a cup ;-; If you do anything like that for photo means it is common sense to me that you put a blanket around them or something soft. And a bigger container helps.
