How hard did you find making the other x0xb0x , do you have to solder every component.

I have only soldered a few timew...I'm pritty ok with learning stuff like this and am patient. How hard is it to make it up ?

i guess the x0x project is dead or only for vip's or something. I've registered myself on the waiting list twice, first a year ago and again half a year, without any response. The forum-admin-b1tch wasn't too friendly and helpful too. I'm really pissed, but hey, who cares. I just missed the last chance to get an authentic 303 clone, that i'm dreaming of for over 10yrs.... >(

this probably doesn't sound relevant, but did anyone here ever play around with D-Lusion's Rubber Duck TB-303 software synth??

nowadays i can get a really low latency (>1 MSEC).

it is now freeware:

google : d-lusion rubberduck

for those of you who cant afford or source the real thing, this is a good alternative!

btw, i was the number one bassline creator at one stage!

Drums are a bit lame yeah ( 808 only plays , isn't touched at all ) didn't put to much volume in the 909 to get the TB's to the foreground .

Note that the 2 boxes play exactly the same bassline @ start - i've played around with both machines for some time now and i don't want to choose wich is best anymore . from my point of view they're equal.
