In terms of the whole game, Rooney is better. he can score, he can pass like a genius, and he can tackle. and lastly, he doesn't fall over easily like the rest of the football players. he gets up and fights for it, if they manage to get him down. mess can run and score, and pass (though i only see it rarely) but not get into midfield and defence, he doesn't tackle. he stays hanging around on the adversaries half.
