René Kollo as Marianus with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Sängerknaben conducted by Georg Solti. Anything else is crap. Send back Simon rattle to Birmingham.
So moving! Was crying while watching this. This brings back the memory when I sang in this masterpiece. So far, I'd say that soprano Soile Isokoski (thanks 3eroica) gives the best performance in her role I've ever heard.
Wow! It's nice to see that Jon Villars has "grown into" his voice. He & I were friends/classmates at Florida State University and I think his voice was a bit awkward then. He knew (as we all did) that it was a big voice, but it was almost too big for him at the time. He didn't really know what to do with it. Looks like he figured it out. ;) Sounds great! :)
Great! Great Mater Gloriosa! "Komm!" We're really attracted to her, we go. How potent, How clear, super-projection, super high! (and not in physical height, in voice) Best of all!. "Blicket auf!"

Can you give us a "left to right" order, or did you do that?
I know who John Relyea is; but none of the others.
Thank you.
