Regardless if this storyline is overused or not, it was storyboarded well, the animation was really lovely, and I for one thought the narration worked quite well. I'm going to assume that Emlyn, the creator, didn't have voiceacting experience, so personally, well done to her for doing a great job.

I find vampire children more frightening then adults too - how often is it that you SEE vampire children? Plus the contorted faces scared the bejesus out me o_o

Anyway.... well done Miss Boyle! : )
