Ridley -- regarding the terminated interview by Paul & Co. -- I assume you are referring to the interview with CNN reporter Dana Bash.

This is the same reporter that repeatedly hammered RP about the newsletters, even after he answered the question. The same reporter who expressed her biased opinion on air that she really hopes RP doesn't get the nomination. The same reporter that was interviewing the soldier in Iowa who was cut-off.

Dana Bash is scum. They shouldn't talk to her ever again.

Personally, I think it is understandable considering the way they phrase their questions, their choice of words, and that they ask the same lame questions over and over just looking for a sound-bite. That is my take anyway.

Also, I wanted to add, that I do tend to think that CNN intentionally "lost the feed" while interviewing that soldier in Iowa. But I have no proof. I also heard that he bolted from the diner because his wife was shoved by a reporter, but that may just be rumor.

Ron Paul did a good thing by leaving the diner, he didnt expect a media swarm. He was going to meet and greet voters in the diner, but the media swarmed into the place and made it difficult for RP and campaign to conduct an orderly meeting without interrupting the current patrons who were just there to eat.

About 120 of them were there and they were trying to all fit in to interview Ron Paul..which was the main reason why he couldn't go talk to that one lady that cried about not meeting him. The implication of it was that Ron Paul is not genuinely personable and, as such, stands to lose votes because of this. Glad-handing voters, however, is a demonstration of superficial kindness. It's ridiculous to give it importance when there are so many serious problems with America as it is.
