NO, this DVD has not been released.

YES, there were some legal issues holding it back.

We are working on getting it released some time this year. In the meantime, it is being recut and tweaked a bit. Hoping to have more information available in a few weeks.

I just googled Wrestling Megafest 2007, and it says it hasn't been released due to some legal matters. They were hopin by Fall of 2009, but the site has either not been updated recently, or it still hasn't been released. Too bad, cuz it looks really interesting

I can answer that. Russo was a B-level WWE writer who focused on the mid-card guys. When the company exploded in '98, Russo rode Austin, the Rock, and DX's coat-tails to the top. Then he goes to WCW claiming that he invented WWE Attitude. There, he cut a retarded wnorked/shoot/who gives a fuck? promo on Hulk, burned bridges, found Jesus, swore of wrestling, nobody cared, and now he's back in TNA writing more crap and waving at a parade that's long since passed.

Russo stretched the Born Again gimmick as far as he could take it...until his Christian wrestling promotion closed after 2 shows and he released the Jesus Freak autobiography that NOBODY bought. Then the same guy who said in interview after interview that he "hates" the wrestling business and would never work for any major company again--turns right around and re-joins TNA as head writer. Way to be consistent, Russo, you opportunistic fraud.

Jason blaustein was the promoter? The fire dept shut down the autograph show several times? I was at wrestlefanfest (san fran)oct 2007,the promoters chris and jasmine were horrible. Fans paid $500 for a vip pass but if you paid $25 for a general admission into the building no one checked passes so you could get all the autographs you wanted, then the promoter skipped town for a day, and he told the great muta he sold 14 thousand tickets and he really only sold 400.
