I think being the "leader" is less about how much presence you have on stage or in videos, and more about who takes more care of the group as a whole off-stage and off-camera.

Victoria, having at least 6 years over the other members, probably feels somewhat maternal and naturally slid into that role.

This is just speculation, but I wouldn't find it at all surprising.

well, it's probably because she hasn't been speaking korean for a long time and she hasn't been training to be a singer very long. you can hear her sing when f(x) covered SNSD's Kissing you. you can tell she's not too comfortable singing in korean yet.

@TheEmopink99 Amber (Taiwanese American) and Victoria (Chinese) were given small parts during their debuting days (LA chA Ta && Chu~) because of their lack of skills in understanding and speaking korean. Just that Amber is the rapper so she got more lines than Vic && most of it was english anyways. Nowadays, Victoria lands a line or more now that she's on her way to conquering the Korean language (Nu ABO, Ice Cream, Chocolate Love ,ect.)

Of Course the song is gonna sound EXACTLY Like the digital version, Because when they perform, They play the digital version in the background, usually just a bit louder than the microphone volume is set to, but enough so that you can hear them, I can hear them and see the differences in timing they are small but noticeable, They aren't Lipsyncing

@mysticnote: They aren't lipsyncing. You can notice there's some disharmony at the end at the 'grow up' part when they're all jumping. I think it's cos the 'do it chu' part is on autotune, they always play that one as a digital backtrack.
