  • The spring looks weak. Never having used one, I'm passing judgement on looks alone. I don't care the constant flicker, and the cost is WOW. I can buy a laser at a gas station that cost $4.00 and duct tape it for free. Laser may only shine true for 150 feet, but I don't need to shot anything further then that.

  • @destinynoon

LOL you think a $4 laser and this are the same thing? thats classic

  • RESIDENT EVIL !!!!!!!!!

  • For $460 retail price I will pass. That is about what I paid for a model 23 Glock. I prefer a solid lit laser also.

  • @Mrlild 2314.... Don't take this the wrong way, but why would you put that on a airsoft? You tryin to get shot? Them airsofts look real. If you pulled that on me, my g36 would take care of the situation. Just a thought for you.

  • @Feblll

do you also get scared of people in costumes? or scared by model trains?

  • why is it flickering and does it do that all the time?

  • Does the on switch ever accidentally engaged when carried in waist holsters?

  • i dont like the pulsating while its on thats kinda weak dude

  • does this fit the Glock 22 Gen 4?

  • Can you use this on the airsoft cousin of this gun, the CYMA CM030 Airsoft Electric Pistol? Please answer my question and don't say unnecessary things just give me an answer.

  • Crap it seems the website no longer has these. Just out of curiosity? Was this only for the glocks or other guns as well? Like a beretta 92fs. And how much was it?

  • @mrkiky

they make / made them for a few popular pistol makes / models

  • The plastic cap breaks on this thing after about every 50 rounds. Awesome, awesome idea -- but they MUST work on quality control. If LaserMax would work on durability, everybody would buy these.

  • I like this configuration however it would be really nice if the color was Green instead of the Red. Ive seen Green on alot of different configurations but not as streamiine like the Laser Max. To your knowledge is there such a product?

  • @TIMMEISTER99

only from Viridian, and a few chinese rip offs

  • the laser max is great

  • @gunwebsites

Do you notice any difference in the action or recoil with the different spring?

  • So if the "on/off" switch for the laser replaces the flush take down button, how do you disassemble the gun?

  • @joromaine

yes... it still works as a take down too

  • The spring looks different than the stock spring, so surely it has different properties. Given all the tweaks Glock has had to make to the Gen 4 spring on the 19 since it came out, I don't know that I can trust LaserMax to have gotten it right.

  • when will they make one for a ruger sr9!?

  • nice, how much was it?

  • I have both the Lasermax internal and the Crimson Trace Laserguard models for my Glock 27. There are two things about the Lasermax I don't like: First, there's no master on-off switch. When at the range, the recoil causes the laser to turn on after 4 to 5 rounds and having to turn it off each time gets to be pretty annoying. I usually end up replacing the laser with my SS buffer spring for range shooting. Second, the laser was inadvertently activated while holstered in my Crossbreed Supertuck

  • Does anyone know about Any Breakage, Or Slippage issues with the Internal lasers?

  • will this work for the g26 4 gen ?

  • @8100rpm

each size of glock has it's own model laser

  • @8100rpm LaserMax just announced a laser for the Gen4.

  • do they carry this for a sigma 9mm

  • @NEWMEXLOBO

no, there are almost no extra accessories for the sigmas

  • why does it flash on and off

  • @Nordex11 The human eye can pick up a flashing light faster than a steady light. I bought this for my Glock 19 an wasnt sure about the flashing laser at first but after using it not only do you pick up on the laser fast but the bad guy on the other end also see's it very quick, so what I have to say is I love it an it has become my most carried Glock an I open carry 90% of the time an I use a black hawk serpa holster an have had no problems

  • is your gun dry and rusty? OMG that's a grudge sound

  • THANKS BRO, I GO TO THE RANGE ALOT AND WANNA GET A LASER I CAN SEE IN DAYLIGHT, I'LL TRY GREEN

  • will this work with the s&w sigma series

  • IM THINKING OF GETTING A LASERMAX FOR MY GLOCK 26, HAS ANYBODY USED IT EXTENSIVELY AT THE RANGE? CAN YOU SEE IT WELL IN THE DAYTIME? HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERY LAST? THANKS

  • @jroxx11211

no lasers work in the day

  • @GunWebsites

    viridian works in the daylight

  • @GunWebsites virdian works great in the day.

  • @GunWebsites not even green lasers?

  • @GunWebsites My Laser works great in the day...! Crimson Trace Glock 23. Yours doesn't...?

  • @jroxx11211 you need a green lazer to see it in day light

  • I've had one in my glock 22 for 4 years, same batteries, performs great but sometimes it shuts off after a few rounds.

  • These are around $300, google is your friend :D

  • Good vid. I've been curious about this thing. Is the laser's shaft/guide rod made of plastic?

  • How is it during daylight hours? And does it

Shut off accidentally after a few rounds?

    Thx

    Famousr

  • what kind of mount are you using for your camera?

  • How accurate is this laser without any adjustments?

  • I knew this existed, but I always assumed the laser would go on by loading or shooting and would go out on a "minute" timer.

    Does this exist?

bay the way what did this laser cost?

  • price ???

  • green lasers are cooler

  • how does it work for the G22 gen 4, since it has a dual recoil spring?

  • Comment removed

  • Is there a double recoil spring version for the Gen 4 Glock 23???

  • god damn you glock sounds sickly creeeeeek

  • FOCUS!

  • nice!

  • I think I've made my decision,.. I CAN"T get it,.. the deciding factor is the batteries used for the lasermax laser are ONLY made by lasermax.. meaning, if I'm going out shooting the next day and I realize my batteries are dead, I can't go to walmart and get some.. oh yeah, and if lasermax ever decides to discontinue a battery to promote new models by making your laser worthless, they can.. Because you're lasers capability is in their hands.. I don't like that at all.

  • @djbro16 i went online to lasermax's website and they said the laser uses a 393 1.5v silver oxide. this is a common battery used for watches. duracell makes them so im perty sure u can get them almost anywhere

  • @djbro16 You're pretty intense brother, take care!

  • @bulleuston76 Why's he insane? Is what he said true about the batteries?

  • Comment removed

  • Hows your lasermax going today? any problems yet? Been thinking about getting a laser for my G21. Wanted a crimson trace, but CT doesn't make none for the model G21 only G21sf. Wanted to buy a quality laser that will last for long time.

  • @MeyerLink89

None of us run these, this was a review not an update or anything

  • do they make steady on lasers for the glock 17 gen4?

  • Comment removed

  • its be a good back up to a glock light and laser and fine for picking

  • Can we trust the new spring?

  • exact same gun as mine... cool!

  • Have you noticed the recoil spring with the laser is too strong?

  • which is brighter, the crimson trace or the lasermax?

  • Comment removed

  • I read on the website (months ago) that only G3 and earlier Glocks can have this installed. What's the latest? Can the newest Glocks also be fitted with the lasermax??

  • Comment removed

  • so it only pulses they dont have steady on?

  • @mattinmo

    both

  • Question I'm about to buy a used lazermax for my glock 22 would you recommend it will get it for 150

  • is there a reason it pulses?

    battery life? visibility?

  • @gonepishing

visibility mostly I think.. so your eye can pick it up quickly

  • does lasermax fit only glocks??

  • @vera713

Nope, they make lasers for many popular pistols

  • I think they should have a switch that you can just press with the trigger finger to work it on and off.

  • No when firing the Glock with that the spring of the laser, is the recoiling still good?

  • thanks alot brutha. had my laser sitting around for a cpl weeks waiting to take it somewhere to be installed til now when i grew some balls to do it myself. lots of help, thanks again

  • @finkdizzle

    cool, glad we could help

  • i want a crimson trace laser, but they dont make any for glock 21....they do for G21 SF, but mines not SF...this laser is ok, but i dont like the pulsing on the laser...

  • very useful....

  • One small issue not with the laser but in how you field strip your gun. First of course make sure it is unloaded which you did, but after making sure you are unloaded pull the trigger and then pull down your takedown lever to let your slide come forward and off.

  • fits any glock????

  • @barksdale05

Well none fit all glock models, but they do make them for all glock models IIRC

  • Thanks, I feel like I'll be able to do mine that I'm ordering tomorrow now.

  • great vid

  • hey a couple questions here how does the lasers recoil spring handle compaired to the stock recoil. how accurate is the actual laser? and my last question if the recoil spring broke where would you get the replacements for the laser spring

  • why would you not be able to replace the batteries

  • nice video

  • why this items very expensive ?

  • Got one for my XD... love the lack of bulk, even the CT was a bit chunky.....whats you're take on range shooting with this one.....I've too many had problems with other sighing systems (lasers, lights, scopes...wont name names...) with them basically falling apart after continued use...thus I've never been able to trust anything (especially if i'm going to carry) but Iron sights, or my eyes...whats your take on the last 6 months of use with this thing....?

  • but i heard they useless at day light jus gotta be a great shooter. Imma get one anyway they cheaper on ebay tho.

  • i know this thing isnt really $399 Im basically buying another gun with that price

  • u dont even u sguns how can u like tha laser?

  • If they could make an external laser like the ones for 1911 models, that would be my choice. Those lasers are VERY low profile and I can't see anything that won't make them work. The external lasers for the Glock are fuckin ugly and too bulky, makes the gun look like it has a tumor. From a CCW point of view, the 1911 external lasers are the best. Low profile and they work ALL THE TIME!

  • Are they real pistols or are that Airsoft pistols

  • real

  • Ok. Nice

  • How does the Lasermax hold up long term? I'm thinking about getting one for a Beretta 92FS.

  • I'll leave that to someone who owns one to answer

  • @GunWebsites can you replace the batteries?

  • Yes the batteries can be replaced, you just have to take the laser apart first

  • @GunWebsites cool i just thought it probably had those internal batteries idk thats awesome im going to get one for my taurus pt 101 thanks fellow patriot nice glocks btw love 40 calibers you should check out the ruger sr9 17+ i like 9mm's too im getting that next:)

  • I've had mine for years and it still works fine.

  • Hey killchain187, I have an internal laser for my Glock 23. While the idea is faultless, it could be built better, especially for $340. It is VERY cool, and to turn it on is very intuative. My thumb falls right on the switch. The FUCKING PROBLEM is the damn thing WILL NOT stay on at the range. For first shot placement it works, but you better be able to follow up the good ol' fashion way. I guess it's biggest plus is that it's intimidating. Hope this helps. Not worth the money.

  • @sstcECOTECsstc So when you fire the pistol, the laser disengages?

  • Yes Sir, most times it disengages, somethimes it might stay on after 3 rounds, or 5. It NEVER stays on for the entire mag.

  • Call Lasermax. They'll send you an upgraded battery cap that will keep it on.

  • I can tell you exactly what that squeak is. I replaced my stock trigger connector on my new glock 27 and noticed that it squeaked when i racked the slide. The trigger connector needs a little tiny drop of oil where it slides across the slide. One dab of oil is all it takes to rid your glock of the squeak.

  • you need to oil you gun a little more to stop that squiky noise

  • Does the laser pulse all the time? or is it just your camera?

  • I love my Lasermax in my G19... but the crimson trace I like more for a brighter dot (mine is at least) and the ease of use (how its engaged). I also like the ability to adjust the crimson trace for different loads, ranges, and so on.

  • true lol

  • Anyone use this on a GLOCK 36? I've heard that these tend to shit the bed pretty quickly and the sighting gets knocked off easily. Anyone with info it would be great!

  • I have one on my 36 and 21. I was worried about lifespan and reliability as well but time has shown over the last year and about 1500 rounds through each that they are worth the money hands down. You get what you pay for when it comes to lasermax and I have found that out. I dont even need night sights now and they are so user friendly. Trust me I am a big glock fan and know a good product when I see one. I swear the recoil spring on the system makes for faster follow ups aswell.

  • Great Video ! It clear some of my questions about Laser Max, I am going to try to get one for my G19 and keep my GTL 22 with My G34. Thank You !

  • sounds like a good combo

  • that slide sounds like it needs to be lubed, haha. great review. these are very informational.

  • it really does, good ear

I run my guns too dry everyone tells me so

  • I've had mine two years , pistol reliability

with laser is good feels like a stronger spring . accurate ? Yes if it's seated right and the red cap is in good shape. You can bet your life on the pistol (GLOCK) but not on this laser. If laser max could make a better cap and pin or come down on replacement cost I would love this laser.

  • thankx!

    very useful .

  • i have one gold pin will not last long at all cap and pin are 10.00 a pop from laser max . if gun is not cocked when you turn the laser on , you will need a new cap and pin. get oil on it no laser untill cleaned. they have had a recall but mine is not on the list. you can do better for the money.

  • WOW.. that's why I like to hear from owners..

Thanks for the insight and honest info

I had no idea about the oil, that sounds like a real issue

  • cool as always, thanks for your time bro! Keep up the good work

  • thanks

  • that is SWEET! I wonder about reliability though...

  • Thant is an issue, but we don't own one to give a long term test too

I'm sure some owners of these might chime in on their reliability

  • Havin a busy night tonight boys.

  • more on the way too

  • would this in anyway hurt the reliability of the pistol? how far are lasers accurate?

  • I haven't personally stress tested these, so I'll leave owners to answer that

  • Price tag - about what ? 379.00

I wish I could afford one.

  • Yea, they are not cheap..

The prices kept me away from them for many years

  • Shit you are really cranking out some great videos tonight!!! Thank You~

  • A few more on the way too
