Hell, even bring Teddy Hart and Jack Evans (Two great high flyers right there). Also, "The Man Who Gravity Forgot" Pac.

Had TNA used "original" in this promo I would agree with you 100% because as you pointed out, the original version of this match did NOT come from TNA. "Original" refers to the fact that it is new and never been seen before.
HOWEVER, they said "innovative", which is not the same thing. "Innovative" refers to something that already exists and tweaking it to make it "better". For example: Tommy Dreamer is an ECW ORIGINAL because he was there when it began. HOWEVER he is also known as the "INNOVATOR of Violence". Does that mean he invented violence? No, violence existed long before Dreamer was even born. It simply means he reinvented it into something new, different and BETTER. Do you see the difference here?
Now, I've seen both the "TerrorDome" (which sucked) and Domo de la Muerte and saw absolutely no difference, so I have no problem in conceding that TNA's use of the word "innovative" was completely wrong. LOL
