I have been testing HHO for awhile now and had never attempted to light it until today. That will be my last time ever! My bubbler didnt have water in it and I took the risk and lit the hose end and it travelled back into the bubbler and up into the main pot. loudest explosion I have heard since the fourth of july! the main pot caught on fire and about burnt down. blew the bubbler in half and i am lucky not to have lost my hearing or site!

OMG- good thing that was not glued or you would have hit with major shrapnel. Always put a PRV in there even if it was just a rubber stopper you would have been safe. Man- that thing stuck in the ceiling- thank God it wasn't your forehead!

Well, the top was snugly fit on top of the cell but it wasn't glued on. I was pretty sure it would just pop off but I didn't know it would freakin' inpale my garage door haha.

Once I get the kinks worked out I'm going to make an HHO-powered potato gun. My dad has already started to call us 'greennecks' because we're doing redneck stuff (i.e., potato guns) but giving it an earth-friendly flare to it.

@mchumley Make sure that the potato cannon is made of metal resistant enough for the pressure. If you make it of PVC or cheap metal it will most likely explode on the first combustion.

We didn't have any safety measures in. As stated before, we just wanted a simple 'hey ya'll, watch this' film. I promise you we are much, MUCH more intelligent than the video suggests haha.

We've made a bubbler, catch-back arrestor, and all that good stuff.  Heck, if the camera will work right I'll have video of our lawnmower running strictly on HHO.

@mchumley if you are intelligent why the heck did you even think about doing that. there is much more power behind this stuff than this video showed. i have a generator of my own and the power behind this gas is amazing. please be carelul and think before you do. (remember the oxygen necessary to support compustion of hydrogen is already present so no air from atmosphere is needed hence hho)
