It's kinda sad how none of u know who All4one even is. considered one of the best RnB groups during the mid 90's they are what true RnB and Soul is along with Stevie Wonder, luther Vandross and Jodeci and etc. i wish people just weren't so oblivious to the pure skill of these guys. Park's good probablly better than these guys but Park is a genius that can't be helped. But All4one is just as lengendary.

This video actually is pretty hilarious, culturally speaking. These guys are just wailing and the crowd is silent, but as soon as PHS sing a note, they go wild.

Also, the attire difference is amazing. Hanguksaram give their best all the time, looks wise, but when it comes to Miguksaram...We just don't care, even in front of millions of people. Awesome to actually see, though.

he's not singing through his nose bro, that's his normal talking voice which is naturally high, not nasal.

He's not using his throat to sing like you're thinking, he's using his stomach/lungs, to project, it's just that his talking voice is naturally high, so you think it's nasal.

When someone sings through their nose, it doesn't sound clean and from the stomach, but only people who know about the rules of singing can tell.

I'll agree that there are many great African American singers, but what i've noticed is that most American songs have a very limited vocal range. Anyone can sing them and thats why they're popular, but thats also the reason most American singers aren't that great. Park hyo shin is one of many korean singers, who's songs are incredible because of the vocal range needed to sing them.

Even though I'm korean when korean's sing rnb and such it sounds a bit generic... but there's a korean traditional style/genre that ppl used to sing looong time ago. it's a culture thing as you already know being Korean. Koreans in Korea, are raised to do things by the book, how your elders and superiors tell you to do something exactly. So you learn by doing what you're told to perfection, whether it's from your heart of individuality or not.

Americans are taught not always textbook, but by how you feel, new creative thoughts even if they go against tradition etc.
