Read all of God's word Morning star. God gave us a choice in Genesis whether to love and serve Him or not. Just because bad things happen doesn't mean that God isn't there. Why not? There's respectable English translations out there right now. Try the ESV version, retains the literal meaning of Scripture, though it might not have the literal style and beauty of the Hebrew version (like alliteration, etc). Hope it works out.

I admit that people need to know about God and Jesus, and how He died just to save us. But I also feel (This comment is NOT meant for any one person here, so please do not take it as personal critisism.) Christians (me included) also need to learn that christianity and being saved is not about them being "better" than everyone else, or being more "holy". Christians need to do more than just talk....they should also live their lives the same way. How are we to reach the world if we are nothing but talk? People look at our walk, and then laugh at our talk because we are such hypocritical. I'll admit I'm not perfect, but neither is anyone else. If you say don't have sex before marriage, then don't have sex before marriage. If you say don't cuss, smoke, or drink, then don't do those things. If you say God has you covered, then don't worry.
I actually like these guys.... However.. I can't relate to any of you because I'm not religious whatsoever. I do admire your abilities to stay faithful with everything that goes on and with science in your faces. @brentc85 Science is man's attempt at explaining things in the world. If you are truely educated, then you would know that our "science" is nothing more than theories and tested guesses. To be honest, science isn't saying "this is how it works" it is saying "this is how we think it works" and "this is how it seems to be working". Science is not meant to prove God doesn't exist..it is actually meant to explain how things work.

We can dissagree with their descisions, but we need to learn to help them without judging. So I think it's really funny when Christians are on message boards, or posting, and they are saying how "i'm right, you're wrong...repent, repent.." sorry. That doesn't work.

I admit that people need to know about God and Jesus, and how He died just to save us. But I also feel (This comment is NOT meant for any one person here, so please do not take it as personal critisism.) Christians (me included) also need to learn that christianity and being saved is not about them being "better" than everyone else, or being more "holy". God wants us to tell others about Him, not make ourselves feel superior to those around us. (cont)

Christians need to do more than just talk....they should also live their lives the same way. How are we to reach the world if we are nothing but talk? People look at our walk, and then laugh at our talk because we are such hypocritical. I'll admit I'm not perfect, but neither is anyone else. If you say don't have sex before marriage, then don't have sex before marriage. If you say don't cuss, smoke, or drink, then don't do those things. If you say God has you covered, then don't worry.

I actually like these guys.... However.. I can't relate to any of you because I'm not religious whatsoever. I do admire your abilities to stay faithful with everything that goes on and with science in your faces. I'm baptized and confirmed catholic but all that went out the window a while ago for me i guess.
I can't say I share in peoples beliefs about religion making the world better... Or any of that noise. I just try to live a good life.

@brentc85 Science is man's attempt at explaining things in the world. If you are truely educated, then you would know that our "science" is nothing more than theories and tested guesses. To be honest, science isn't saying "this is how it works" it is saying "this is how we think it works" and "this is how it seems to be working". Science is not meant to prove God doesn't exist..it is actually meant to explain how things work.

Uhhh. So scientists don't read books? The funniest paradox about non believers is that Christians have held to the same belief in Jesus Christ for thousands of years, and yet the science community didn't even acknowledge that the earth is finite. And that revelation was only agreed upon in the last 65 years. And you are watching a Kutless video, there is absolutely no argument whether they are a Christian band or not, but I am glad you are watching the video.

@X9090 i remember one nite n biblestudy one of my church members was tlkin and she was asked y is she so religous and her reply was it's not me being religous nor religion but it's my relationship with God. and wen she said that it was an eye opener 4 me and 2 c these words again it keeps me knowing im not religous, i have a never ending relationship with Christ :)

You can read about it in the Bible, John 14 (actually all of John is a great book).

If you believe fairies exist doesn't make it the truth, does it? Until there is solid proof God is real, christianity is a religion, not the truth. It's great you believe in God, I respect that, but don't act as if what you think is right, period. If it was the truth, the Islam wouldn't exist, or Buddhism, or any of the other religions. @OrkRule1 There isn't 1 truth. If there was, as I said before, there wouldn't have been as many religions as there are. I respect your faith in Christianity, but that's just it - it's faith. I also believe - I'm not Christian, I'm Wiccan - but you don't hear me going around telling it's the truth and such. Because, frankly, it's not. Not until there's solid proof at least.

MY body repairs itself when injured or diseased with the flu. There alone is a very small portion that God exists and that HE IS TRUTH. Now, if we are asking for proof for our beliefs, then were is your proof? If you rely on yourself for power, you are sadly mistaken. After all, we are all gonna die. Trust ourselves? Nota good idea.

@dagger5ify There are logic explanations for the things you said. The sun doesn't rise, our planet moves. We breathe because we have lungs in our body. Our body heals itself because of all those things inside our body which I don't know the name of in English. Going around, proclaiming God is the truth is really arrogant. What about the people who believed, but were hurt, and lost their faith? Where was God when we were hurting? If He loved us, why did He not protect us?

@dagger5ify I didn't say to believe in ourselves. I don't believe that either - frankly, I don't trust myself. People are greedy, if we only trusted ourselves the world would be even worse than now. And no, I don't have proof God doesn't exist. But you don't have proof He exists, either. Until there is proof, I refuse to believe in him. Again, I admire your faith, I wish I could have such faith in something. But there just is no proof. So don't go around saying He's the truth, and hurting others

@GsliMaIiy Jesus is God? I thought Jesus was God's son :S And just because Jesus existed (which I believe he did) doesn't mean God does. People made him that way. He was just a believing man who brought Christianity into the world, his followers made him God's son and immortal and all that. Jesus was a jew, really. And I'm not lying, there has been evidence of that. He just changed things, and that became Christianity.
