@Sp8rk3y fail. Corsair had 2625mhz 1gb modules. with 9-11-10 timings. If you pair em up they run garuanteed at 2600 9-11-10

@Sp8rk3y Fail again, the 2625 mhz stick were out for testing roughly 3 months ago. I saw them on extremesystems(?) if i recall correctly. The overclocked them to more than 3ghz on LN2. Besides that 2 months ago corsair was delivering 2533mhz dimms.

And even if, who cares. If you want extra real world performance, save money by buying 1333/1600 kits and get a good intel/sf1200 ssd. That's what's really making a real world difference. It's just a stupid, who has the biggest game.

Lower is better but frequency also makes a difference, so high memory always has higher timings as a rule but the gtx break this rule.

2250mhz 8 8 8 24 is better than 2000 7 8 7 20 but

1866 8 8 8 24 is not as good as 1866 7 8 7 20

Well we talk most nights and we always planned on getting them, he ordered his about 2 weeks before me but he got slow ass post, they actually arrived the same day in the end. Im prety sure he spotted them first though so i suppose i copied him.

On release there will be no 4 way 480 but give it time and evga will bring out a 4 way classified edition.

If you are gaming only and have no probs then you may aswell stick with waht you have, but if you are like me and want the fastest and do benchies, 3 way 480 is the way to go.

I really thought about it but the cost of baord 2 sets of gt, 3 480s and 2 xeon chips will be crazy money.

Expect Trubritar to do it though he is really the only person thats insane enough for a set up like that.

In tessalation the 480 is 2 times faster than the 5870.

Yeah apparently it's great in a synthetic bench with unrealistic levels of tessellation, but in games you're looking at 5870 performance, card's less than 3 weeks away, why is NV not bigging it up, do the math.

becasue they never do, they dont leak anything and never have, all clocks and benchmarks will come on the 26th 3 days before retail release.

Look at it this way why would they realese clocks and performance numbers early so then the competition have something to aim for, this way ATI is shooting in the dark.
