This is one of the biggest reasons it is going broke. And which math is incorrect? Why don't you point it out? Because you know it is correct!! You must be one of those doing exactly what I and the video discuss.
Pensions gone for want to be career politicians and that will work once term limits are in place and laws making it clear that any political position is voluntary.
I just love all the attacks on here by the angry libtards. You all must be upset that he's not raising taxes and putting New Jersey's fiscal house in order.
They do that job for 35 yrs @3K/yr, & put 5.5% of that salary in the pension sys. = $165/yr. Then some politician gives them a job @100K for 3 yrs. So he works a total of 38 yrs, puts in 165x35yrs= $5775 plus 5500 x 3 yrs= 16500 for a total of just over 22K. Interest 4 those first 35 yrs won't amt 2 much. The formula 4 the pension is ((num of yrs(38)) / 55) * 100K
(38/55)*100K = $69090 4 the rest of his life. This is why the pension system is going broke.
@Jenstina This is NOT why the pension system is going broke. It's going broke because EVERYONE was promised unrealistic guarantees. Also, your math is also completely inaccurate. ALSO, don't hate the player, hate the game. Every NJ employee did the same thing as Christie. I don't see you bashing a social worker or parole officer for receiving their pension. The system is broken, not the people in the system. Christie said he will fix it. We will see...
All you need to know: Chris Christie consults with KARL ROVE. The only reason ANY politician would need Karl Rove is for DIRTY TRICKS during election time. ( Name ONE forthright thing that benefits the common man that Karl Rove has ever done in politics!) Want BUSH policies in NJ? Vote Christie!
well i dont know about chris christy having ties to the mob, but if your looking for a criminal look at our current president, hes as big of criminal as both
Christie has faced strong criticism for several of the actions and decisions taken by the U.S. Attorney's Office during his tenure; much of the controversy has centered on the several instances in which he awarded lucrative federal monitoring positions in no-bid contracts to friends, supporters, and allies.[
There's a phrase to describe this video: "Grasping at straws"
