@donjharman the hell they cant, give it some time. They can put up a barrier around the railing to push you out, off, or in the lander. they can add a death barrier to the top of the lander. they could even make the rail kill you if your not in the lander, they will patch it.

1. Remove the small barrier on the edge of the lander so you can't stand on it.

2. Make the rails extend over that area so you can't stand on it.

As of 2/23/11 it's not patched and got it to work on all 3 outside landers, but I can only get it to work about 10-20% of the time. Is there a definitive way to get this to work by aiming in a certain way or something? This glitch reacts differently every time I play it.

I've done this a lot. Don't fall down in the pack a punch room though. You won't be able to die unless they launch the rocket. Oh yeah also over at PHD this works. Stand on an edge just like this when your facing the stairs. Then you go over a big building and just drop off. That strategy works also.
