  • Rebel Without A Cause*

  • Youre tearing me apaer lisa

  • Ok, that was more cool when Tommy Wiseau did it in The Room, but not here.

  • @SpongeSebastian well Lisa is her name. Soo I guess its kindof implied.

  • Daniel Radcliffe.

  • Why do people always think this is a reference to The Room? Unless he said "Lisa" at the end, it's a reference to "Rebel without a Cause."

  • @SpongeSebastian I was just thinking that! Though, like Duke said, it would have worked the other way too if he'd said "Lisa" at the end. But the character is obviously designed to resemble James Dean, so yeah. It just goes to show that people associate things with what they're familiar with in their own epoch of history. And that goes for more than just pop culture.

  • Joo just a little chickan! Cheep cheep cheep cheep chee-ee-ee-eep!

  • what episode is this

  • NO NO NO! THIS WAS A PARODY OF REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE AND TWILIGHT! IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A PARODY OF THE ROOM! I LOVE CAPS!

  • What episode is this?

  • don't know what angers me more, the people who don't realize this is from 'Rebel Without A Cause' or the Rhodes Scholars who feel the need to correct someone's grammar in the most condescending manner...

  • @drewski67 IM GETTING 4NGERED BY PEOPLE WHO 4CT LIKE 4 FUCKING GR4MMER POLICE U DONT NEED 2 4CT LIKE GR4MM4R POLICE ITS FUCKING INTERNET THE PL4CE WHERE NOONE C4RES 4BOUT UR FUCKING GR4MM4R 4ND UR NOT TE4TCHER EITHER SO SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • @walkinginsun21 .....OK PLEASE tell me this response was intentional. If so, brilliant.

  • Priceless!

  • I love how Daniel's voice is all calm!! <3

  • LOL!! I <3 Daniel Radcliffe

  • Daniel Radcliffe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ...My tearing me apart?

  • *you're

  • You're*

  • They should've made him say it to Lisa... but they failed.

  • Someone actually referenced "The Room"? In a major prime-time TV show?

    My God! It's spreading!

  • Dan -3

  • You're*

  • Dracula owns a 'tearing me apart'?

  • Simpsons did it

  • Daniel Radcliffe <3

  • watch?v=KRxod7diTkU

  • I always thought this was a reference to Rebel Without a Cause, which is a lot better than The Room

  • @ANTCAMP44

    Because it is.

  • @silversquall I know it is, but a lot of people on the internets think its a reference to the room

  • i got the results back this is defenitely not funny

  • Terrible Simpsons? I am fed up with this world.

  • Remember when the Simpsons used to be funny? Those times are over. The Simpsons ARE DEAD

  • @Horrorlord1 are you kidding me? the simpsons are still funny. do you think you sound like a simpsons expert if you bash young episodes and brag about old ones? the italian bob, the good the sad and the drugly, sex pies and idiot scrapes... how can you not laugh at that?

  • @TheJayman213 ignore the troll he is just a mad little kid thats getting killed by pros on cod mw3

  • *you're

  • Can someone tell me the name of the episode? I'm intrigued

  • OH I SEE, her name is Lisa and the original quote is "You're tearing me apart Lisa!"

I just got that, I feel smart :>

  • Kid who's suppose to be Edward voiced by Harry Potter ... my brain hurts >_<

  • @Skunkoon98241 I think it's a dig at the fact that Twilight is a very famous Harry Potter knock off.

  • xD Dan Radcliffe as the Simpson-ised Spoof of Edward Cullen = EPIC WIN

  • *You're

  • shame he rather didnt say "you tearing me apart lisa" in some other section of the episode....but last 10 seasons are really more and more sad to watch..age rate changed from 10 up to 10 down...jokes now are so junk...whats going on with that kind of classic simps humor?out of ideas?where are all those great episode writers and directors?sad

  • It is funny because Daniel Radcliffe is the Voice actor for Edmund.

And the other funny thing, is that Everyone keeps on saying Twilight Is better than Harry Potter, Which is not true, so the main character of Harry Potter is intimating Twilight.....

  • ...Lisa

  • *You're

  • This is definitely a Rebel Without a Cause reference. Shame they missed the opportunity to make it a "The Room" reference.

  • @C2TheMizzle They made it both, as Lisa Simpson..was present..Lisa..being in "The Room" When this was said...yeah...its intelligent like that...

  • Lol Radcliffe makes a great Edward !!!

  • I am glad that they have a James Dean quote in this

  • @Ginny0721fab yes

  • Why did they get daniel radcliffe to play someone who is related to the movie that rivals harry potter?

  • @ItsAMetal That's the joke.

  • It's scenes like this that show why The Simpsons should have been cancelled 10 years ago.

  • Its that Dan Radcliffe's voice????

  • @Ginny0721fab it is

  • Lisa.

  • What episode?

  • YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, FATHER

  • ....yeah. that was stupid. Not saying it to Lisa. Remember when Simpson's had like.....jokes? That were funny?

  • daniel radcliffe!!!!!!! i totally wasn't expecting that :P

  • @sibubble16 he's a huge Simpsons fan

  • Even if it was a reference to the room, it ruined the punchline by not INCLUDING Lisa.

  • Why would the Simpsons sink this low? Twilight fucked this one up good.

  • Well this is fucking bullshit.

  • u know what tears me apart? incorrect use of your and you're

  • NOT FUNNY.

  • SAW IT (TREE HOUSE OF HORROR XXI )

  • MY tearing me apart?

  • Shoulda said it to Lisa.

  • Oh Hai Marge

  • Daniel Radcliffes Voice urggghhh!! <3

  • I don't know if this is a reference to "The Room". It might be a reference to James Dean in "Rebel Without A Cause".

  • @NoisemakerArrow It's definitely a reference to Rebel Without a Cause.

  • @NoisemakerArrow They did not reference the the room, its bullshit, they did nat reference it, they did naaat.

  • @Ikarosus It has to be a reference to The Room because in that movie he says "You are tearing me apart Lisa!" And Lisa was right next to him.

  • @JonJonFtheW Seriously?

  • @Ikarosus Oh, hi Mark...

  • @NoisemakerArrow the room

  • @NoisemakerArrow I thought it was a parody of Twilight at first.

  • @NoisemakerArrow The Room.

  • @NoisemakerArrow It was a refrence to JD, good catch

  • @NoisemakerArrow As he could of said Lisa....and he didn't....You must be correct!

  • @NoisemakerArrow Not just "might"

  • @NoisemakerArrow I think it's a reference to rebel without a cause, or they would have said it to lisa...also note the hair cut. I think you are right

  • Try spelling "you're" right.

  • @Goombowser How not to be a douche on the internet: The use of you're instead of your and there instead of their etc. are common typos on the internet. As a consequence if you point out the mistake you are one of about 100 million repetitive "spelling cops" who are equally as tiresome as the spelling mistakes they call out. You should only correct these mistakes if the person who made them is calling out a spelling mistake in your own comment. Thanks for you're time.

  • @fookfocketyfookfook Shut up.

  • @Goombowser Sure, no problem.

  • @fookfocketyfookfook No I think hes a grammar nazi :P

  • @CrossPavlov But I'm sure the video creator knows that he is shortening "you are".

  • hes a parody of edward cullen that equals bad actor that equals tommy wiseau

  • I never hit you! You're tearing me apart, Lisa!

  • I can't believe no one realizes that this is a parody of Twilight/Rebel Without a Cause.

  • Havent seen a funny new episode of the simpsons in 5 years

  • It's Rebel Without A Cause, guys, not The Room.

  • Dracula Vs Rebel With A Cause

    Great!

  • I god more of a laugh when I realized the Ed Cullen lookalike was voiced by Daniel Radcliffe.

  • @tenshy94 yepp

  • They just did that line just to make fun of Edward's personality.

  • Comment removed

  • yay! go Dan!

  • Why didn't they write it for the whole quote? Copywrite or something?

  • If they had thought about this joke for a few seconds longer, they would have realized that standing right next to the Edward parody is a character named Lisa, thus giving them the perfect opportunity to use the full line: "You're tearing me apart, Lisa!"

  • @MrTheSpamMan you seriously think that didn't occur to them, and some schmuck like you was the first to pick up on it? you sure you're not missing something?

  • Obviously you don't watch enough of the new episodes, because Simpsons is still a very funny show.

  • @AliminiumHydroxide The new Simpsons? Funny? Nope. All you get now is cultural references. The show pummels you in the face with them. The old Simpsons told fantastic stories. Not like the new Simpsons - Lisa doing crossword puzzles? You call that clever?

  • @ToxicTurquoise454 Bart Stops to Smell the Roosevelts demolishes your generalisation.

  • -I'm having a problem with Lisa. She says that I bit her.

    -What? Well, did you?

    -No, don't even ask!

  • You're not your. It's not that hard to tell the difference.

  • Oh hai Marge!

  • LOLLLL PRESS 5 !!!!

  • I did nawt hit her, I did nawt!

  • "YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, DANIEL!" <3

  • keep pressing 2 for hilarity

  • that's clearly a reference to 'Rebel Without a Cause'-where James Dean says: "You're tearing me APART!!" to his parents as they argue...i don't think there is any 'room-reference' here?

  • @bunkopaniczny Agreed. I mean, if so he would have added Lisa. I mean, she was right there. lol

  • @TenderNINja ABSOLUTELY! great point, i didn't even think of that initially, and that cinches it! clearly if they'd intended it to be a reference to 'The Room' they could have VERY easily (and VERY genuinely) added: "...Lisa" as a tag to that specific reference. thanks you, excellent observation!

  • YOU ARE TEARING ME APART LIZAAA!

  • making a simpsons episode does not make it funny. It only makes girls loving a cartoon carather. Then there is two things they will never be with.

  • Oh Hai Vampire, you're looking very sexy today.

HAha, what a funny story Edward.

  • who was that kid next to lisa?i hope is not who i think it is

  • "You live under my grave, you live under my rules."

    .....Seriously?

The Simpsons, go to your room until you learn to be funny again

  • It should be "you're", not "your".

  • Tommy Wiseau or James Dean?

  • is that daniel radcliff?

  • @ledzelda9 yes. it was.

  • This was written by Director/Producer/Writer/Actor/Superstar Tommy Wiseau

  • Come on. I've never even seen Rebel Without A Cause and I know the reference.

  • sounds more like the James dean version than the room version

  • so dumb. the simpsons is obnoxious

  • Tommy Wiseau should guest star in this show

  • yeah, should have said Lisa

  • its daniel radcliffe dubbing the vampire kid

  • I think they made the reference ambiguous so they wouldn't get sued by Tommy Wiseau.

  • @JustPhilNY I think it's supposed to be like the line from "Rebel Without a Cause" instead.

  • I can't believe I'm saying this, but outsourcing the show's writing to South Korea will probably be an improvement.

  • lol "The Room", try Rebel without a Cause you dumb fuckin youtube uploader

  • Comment removed

  • @DoucheFagX

Thank you so much for re-quoting that from 9001 over users -_-

I still think it would of been funny if he ended that statement with "Lisa" at the end. It might of been irrelevant to use it, but still would of havd some humour into it...

  • @TheSecondR if he said lisa it woulda totally been a The Room reference, but simpsons nowadays aren't humorously intelligent enough for that

  • @DoucheFagX

I think Matt Groening is trying to pull off a Stephen Hillenburg... You know, you have a successful show for a bit, you wanna give it a rest but then you have a 5 year contract with your Broadcasting company so you make every episode slightly shittier so that it eventually gets canceled on its own... Know what I mean?

  • simpsons just does satires on all the popular trends and havent had original ideas in at least a decade.. family guy , futurama, south park.. ect can get away with talking about sex, drugs and have a bit of blood or talk about controversial stuff... simpsons can't, its like a heavyweight prize fighter vs. a feather weight .. or in laymen terms a very big guy vs a very small guy. Death to the simpsons.

  • @JYZProductions ._. family guy is one of the most unoriginal shows if you're gonna talk about satiring other trends and celebrities. futurama is a great show i agree and south park is at least original in that they add their own twist to the satire. Family doesn't even fucking try its just a retard and a wife who can't get a fucking clue. At least Homer actually TRIES with marge. the Simpsons have talked about drugs, sex, and loads of others so you've obviously not watched the show.

  • @thevoiceofreason94 yeah its like family guy has ADD but still , the newer seasons in most cases of the simpsons its just like sighhhh fuck it, futurama and south park are my picks of the 4 anyways. I watched every episode of the simpsons and family guy ... i think family guys funnier as the whole homers stupid getting hurt thing got old quick.

  • @JYZProductions i dunno... i've always hated peter's personality but loved him as a character since its hard to get me mad at something but someone so fucking racist and retarded could get my blood boiling. The new season of the simpsons is pretty pathetic but looking at the past episodes you have to give the show a LOT of credit for setting the standards for cartoon shows today.

  • *You're

Also, The Simpsons aren't funny anymore.

  • You're*

  • wow - simpsons is shit now - to much horrible 'family guy' influence i guess.

  • LOL POP CULTURE REFERENCES ECKS DEE

  • Oh hi Bart!

  • Thats Bullshit! They did not copy The Room. They did not...

    Oh hai Mark!

  • @GordonFromMineCraft lets get sommit to eat.huh!

  • @GordonFromMineCraft It's from Rebel Without a Cause.

  • Thats Bullshit! They did not copy The Room. They did naut...

    Oh hai Mark!

  • Fuck this show.

  • *you're

  • Ummm... You guys know that this is a "Rebel Without a Cause" reference, right?

  • @privatefell sadly, i don't think so...i don't think most people know the line from the room was a quote, which makes its use in that film all the more hilarious

  • @privatefell I would think the same, but look at his hand gestures... looks a lot like Tommy Wiseau

  • @privatefell Nope, the hand motions make it seem as if it were a reference to the room.

  • @TheTrueYoshiman Look at the Vampire. It's a spoof of Twilight. Angsty teenaged Vampire. James Dean is the Original Angsty Teenager. Wiseau lifted the line and flailing from Rebel without a Cause (one of the movies he says "influenced" him). It sounds like Dean. The line is shouted at his Dad (Just like in Rebel without a Cause). Don't you think if they were going to lift directly from The Room, they would have had him direct the line at the girl next to him? You know... LISA?

  • @privatefell I can see what you mean; you make a good argument. Due to Lisa being next to him, I think it could go both ways, but since he is technically talking to his dad like Dean did in Rebel Without A Cause, I could see why you think that.

I think they took it out of The Room, since The Simpsons is a comedy show, and The Room was generally a pretty comedic film.

  • you'd think that would be the perfect opportunity for him to say lisa but they failed.
