@swswangel Leia and Skye are both special characters meaning that your child will look like any of the children you could have with the other bachelors, the same rule applies to the Harvest Goddess, Witch Princess and Kiera, I can't spell her name, and in harvest moon cute, the gender can be a girl or boy and is set randomly at your marriage so you can't change the gender, but if you marry Leia or Skye you can change the way they look, by saving the day before and reloading to get the wanted one

the kids gender is chosen at amrriage, apparently. theoretically you could save to both files before the marriage, save to one file after the marriage and just keep going to bed until you have a child and if its what you want then go back to the file you saved to after marriage and if not go to the other one etc... if you married the witch, the goddess, leia, keria, skye, or one of the mt boys the childs appearance is chosen at birth so just save the day before

Save on another file before the anything about the birth. It helps since the child is random. I had a baby blonde boy with Skye, but I wanted a girl. The kid's still adorable. I did hear somewhere the baby's gender is determined at marriage, though, but I doubt that. Anyway, good luck!
