i cant believe people couldnt tell something was wrong pretty quickly. i mean when it goes close-up at 0:15 he has a look of intense pain just as he starts to collapse. same when he is on the ground
Why the hell would anyone think this is sick? You really haven't seen the world have you if a video of someone collapsing is sick. No gore, no blood, no trauma, just a person sitting down like anyone could do. What a pathetic little bubble most people live in, completely oblivious to the real atrocities happening out every day.
Do yourself a favour and head on over to Bestgore or Documenting reality and then watch this again.
Why are people asking if its appropriate to watch someone die ? Thats a silly remark. What happened to free media ? I notice the international news papers didnt have any problem with showing Gaddafi's death. This is less offensive that watching a baby being born graphically speaking. People in the west are such babies when it comes to things like this.
I say we take down this video out of respect for his memory. Thats my opinion, I don't think this is a appropriate way of remembering someone, watching them die.
@Coonshake Read again, dumbass, spelled right, take your ass back to school, little boy. YT censors shit all the time. Its not my moral values, its called respect for those gone.
Not everyone gives "respect for those gone". So, yeah, it actually IS a moral value of yours (that, I admit, other people may have). Good lord.
Also, don't you think I'm aware that YT censors things? Because I am, and I hate it. I still think YouTube fucked themselves over once it was sold to Google.
R.I.P Tommy Cooper you re a legend. My Dad use to tell us the story of Tommy when he dies on stage but I never thought it was live until watching it.It sad to see but at least he went out making people laugh and that is what Tommy was all about.I never say thats what he would want because I dont believe I should speak for somebody I dont know but who knows.Maybe it was.
@dinnerandashow When Cooper fell down they pulled him back through the curtains and while they made attempts to resuscitate him the show went on with other acts using the small piece of stage in front of the curtains. The rumour was that while they were performing Cooper's feet could still be seen sticking through the curtain, although I've seen no real evidence that this was true.
@GoPensGo377 How so? They couldn't have known he was going to have a sudden heart attack in the middle of his show. He was a comedian. They thought it was still part of the act.
Even though I was six at the time can remember this show. I didn't see this actually happen as I was put to bed before the show ended. I only heard he died the following day as I liked Cooper a lot as a child.
I have very few other memories from that time, some things do stick in your memory for compelling reasons...
You know what? If I was a comedian, this is EXACTLY how I would want to kick the 'ol bucket. What a poetic way to go! It's not like it was a terrible death, it was quiet and dignified. And it's as if he was doing one last shtick, but left off the punchline. Joke's on us, and I'm still laughing. RIP Tommy.
It's incredibly sad but i did laugh right at the end. There are hell of a lot worse ways to go than on stage with a bunch of adoring fans laughing at you...
he shit hes pants farted smeled hes own farts felled dizzy choaked farted again shit flied in hes mouth swallowed it farted again peed in pants licked hes own balls rip
@sivazh I wasn't trying to insult he was a man who loved to make people laugh and he died making people laugh I would love to die doing my calling doing what I loved to do I feel he would not have wanted to go any other way why is saying that so bad?

I was thinking about this right before I watched it...I think its because (for the most part and for many) we don't ever see this happen. I mean, people are drawn to see things they have never seen. @Wentfradump If you went to a live show you wouldnt expect the host to drop dead. Tommy Cooper was unpredictible he often did stuff that wasnt planned and like i said in another comment the guy could get laughs by doing just a simple thing, as far as the audience knew it was part of the act. My parents were watching this on tv as it happend and they thought it was part of the act, everyone did untill they suddenly cut it off air. @jrhomer100 lol are you sure you have even watched any of Tommy Cooper? he was childish he was never serious but he could make you laugh with just a look he could do anything and people would laugh even by just walking out to the stage he would get chuckles. We dont find this funny because we know what the outcome was but if this was part of his act and he got up after people would find it funny.
@zZHighTimeZz yes i have and random laughter is one thing then collapsing looking unconcious and then releasing your bowels as you can hear isnt a tommy cooper joke
@jrhomer100 He never released his bowels he made a croacking sound with his voice as he fell backwards. @insanity1000013 They didnt because he often did stuff that wasnt planned so they just thought he was going off script which was common for Tommy. When they did click that something was wrong it was to late but the one thing that i dont agree with is that they carried on with the show, they closed the curtain and tried to revive him in near enough darkness also the paramedics took awhile getting to him, otherwise he may have survived.

He was just so funny without really trying (or seeming to), I'm sure Vic and Bob owe a lot to him, he made silly bizzare comedy funny long before they did.
@doomguy5000 yo te voy a chingar e luego YO te voy a decier "hahaha, this guy is a fucking prick xD" while beating you with a baseball bat, pinche joto!
as a fan of Tommy i find this very hard to watch. but i will say that the audience DID think it was part of the act so they don't need to feel any guilt.

He was just so funny without really trying (or seeming to), I'm sure Vic and Bob owe a lot to him, he made silly bizzare comedy funny long before they did.

That is a measure of just how good Tommy Cooper was, he could even get laughs after he died-genius.
There is a statue of him in Caerphilly, S Wales where he came from.

as a fan of Tommy i find this very hard to watch. but i will say that the audience DID think it was part of the act so they don't need to feel any guilt.
