My dad brought this album home and we played all day and night till we learned all the words My parents are now gone to be with the Lord.

They loved life and knew real music.

This is NOT Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66. This is Lani Hall (lead-singer of the Brasil '66 up to 1971) singing "Sergio Mendes Medley" issued on her 1982 Mexican album "Lani" on the Ariola label.

I love how you capture the look of the era in which we all were swept away by the allure of Bossa! The thick lashes and super light glossy lips was somehow very becoming to a lot of women! (I did a subtle version well into the 90s! The era. Not my age! ahem.)
