Doesn't Quasimodo kill Jehan int the book? This version is very accurate but I don't like it for some reason. And also the "tale of the cake" about Esmerellda's mother is missing in just about every version. I thought that was one of the best, one of the most tragic, parts of the story.
and quasi say's "it was meant to KILL YOU!!!" as the gypsies use his death wood as a method for getting into notre dame. ^^ and those gypsies are worth twice as much covered in silver XD
its almost like an anti fairy tale. often both characters are so in love they cannot talk about anything else but they're love for each other, however, in this tragic tale it is only esmeralda that cares for phoebus, phoebus couldn't give a damn about her. quite tragic really, and she still loves him even though he is the cause of her imprisonment, he failed to say she was innocent and he basically tried to rape her. if i was her, i couldn't care less about phoebus^^
