these guys take there inspiration from the clash which is slightly unusual for the type of music they play. there music lies sumwhere between alternative/indie and in some of there early songs reaggae and dub. asside from there style ther also a great band, to anyone hu liked this song i would seriously recommend checking out there music.

If you watch the Lowdown interviews of Jay, he says the bands inspiration is how different types of music (reggae, ska, etc.) and different bands (the police, the clash, etc.) are taken and reformed by the world. That makes them pretty worldly in my book. Though not of any real intention of their own, and not by the normal boundaries of genres, Bedouin Soundclash is punk.

Music comes in all different sounds, styles and sizes, to honestly restrict yourself to a single genre of music is not only your loss but pretty obnoxious and naive. I'm not saying you have to like all of the genres or even the majority of them but dont be naive enough to think that metal is the only 'talented' genre.
