i got the butter nutty one from the warm and cozy collection and the whole stick came out the first time i use it. Please tell me im not the only one who had this problem?

@pursebuzz That is the price in Canada, and on the MAC Canada website. $21 for the shadesticks. You are not providing wrong information. Also....it does not come out in the US and then internationally...it ALWAYS comes out in Canada the same day as it does in the US.

@RohiniGanga i suppose you've got to use an eyeshadow primer first then a smaller amount of the nyx jumbo eye pencils, then evenly spreading it on your lid with your finger! :) sometimes less is more, and in this case, the more you use, the more can crease!

I love MAC shadesticks. Only had 2 out of 15+ dry up a bit due to cap not secure. I am shocked at the price though. Last time I bought one they were approximately $15-16(max) and worth it but in this economy I don't think I will pay $21 . I have cakeshop and love it. I would purchase with the pro discount(if I didn't have enough already) because they don't crease and they last all day. :)

I have a shade stick that creases.. which sucks, i liek them when they dry out becaue they dont crease but yes, they hurt to apply when they are dry but they are amazing in the brighter colours!

@oshinsr I had one break because I had it too far up. I put it back in the tube and only have enough exposed to use(less than 1/2 an inch) and it works fine.

why would you spend $84 on those when you can get NYX jumbo eye pencils, which aren't limited edition. they have the same

colors and I've had mine for about 2 years and they still work amazingly the same.

nyx jumbo pencils look just as good but a fraction of the cost so if it gets hard you dont have to break the bank to buy another one. Thanks for this review i always buy stuff from mac on a whim now i feel better if i dont get this :D

I love the reviews! Great review & great live product mishap showing possible downside of the expensive item! I've never had a shade stick by Mac & honestly was considering 1 or 2 of these so this review is awesome 4 me, thank u! I may pass & stick 2 the paint pots. Are people disliking because they dislike the product? That's just stupid... if you found the video helpful then you would like it. She put the effort to make this video and then to get a bunch of dislikes for the wrong reason isnt right.

Anyways these remind of a stila shadestick i own and its lovely until its dried out. I barely got any use out of it and it is very painful to try get colour from it now. I wouldn't pay for these, colours are nice though :)

Milani, and Sephoa brand have a similar great product. I have many of the colors, wont smudge, waterproof and last all day. Plus they are significantly cheaper..Sorry MAC. Although I do love MAC, i think i'll pass on this collection. Thanks for the review :)
