@kcorclux No, I started the year after, but my sister happily gave me daily reports of the filming. We lived just opposite the school and when it was on TV I kept running to the front window and looking out, then looking at the telly!
@kcorclux I livedi n Horseshoe Lane, right opposite, it was roll out of bed, out the door and hey presto! Did you attend Francis Combe and live on that estate too?
Those really were the days.... Looking back it and comparing it todays school life it looks like another age. Wow.
