  • Hey man, that's cool. Just a tip: seems to me that as the rotor speakers have been changed they are now out of balance - I have the original ones and if you turn them by hand they run smoothly and don't tend to stop at the bottom. You should try rebalancing them, just loosen the counter-weighting plates and re-tighten them a bit further away from the axle.

  • Nice amp you got thereI Awsome sound:) just got one of those ra 100, but ive dont have any footswitch.... could I use a common channel footswitch from another amp??

  • I play organ and have had two different Wurlitzer Spectratones. The first was a stand alone cabinet I picked up from a thrift store for $5! It looked like an end table... put it next to a recliner. See insides online. The early ones used a solenoid on a long shaft that had a bar that went in and out ( sort of like the arms on a locomotive wheel) so that as the 2 speakers went around the volume would raise & lower too. Wurli 4500 organ used an offset disc w/ a light & light cell to do chorus

  • @paulj0557 Been looking for a stand alone for not too long now. It'll happen but those yamaha organs seem to find my name all over them. Soon I'll have twin triples with those crazy Yamaha elephant ear woofers under each of them.

  • @RoknRolUSA I fell in love with my first Yamaha Electone B4cr and did lots of recording with it. Love the comboesque tone of the individual transistor oscillators. I read somewhere that those ear shaped speakers had some sort of logic behind them regarding the shape projecting sound the same way the human ear listens...must have been up late drinking saki.

  • I've got one of these amps that's been sitting around for ages. Any idea what they are worth if selling?

  • one of the most beautiful sights Ive seen in ages. so cool. thanks for sharing.

  • Hi, what speakers did you use there? The rotating speakers on my RA100 are blown so I'm looking for a way to replace them like you did. Thanks!

  • Cool amp, sounds great, but your speakers in the rotors are not original. Thanks for posting, it's cool to listen to.
