It was an awesome idea and it was played awesomely. The only problem I noticed was that the violin was a bit fast at the chorus and didn't fall in line with the guitar. But at "Hands down this is.." it was beautifully played.....Good job..

I found it strange a violin and a guitar playing in almost the same volume. Every time I try to play violin/guitar covers, my violin complets overwhelms the guitar sound. = (

move the mic closer to the guitar, the violin just cuts through so much better. and like try to do a sound check. also if you watch our "snails" cover, we actually recorded them seperatly and we just did the adjustments on a program

hey, this is fred, the other guy from the video, and i do alot of audio recording and stuff, so here's what i think might help. we recorded the audio on a different device than the camera and then just mixed the audio and video together on windows movie maker. if you're using an external mic, try moving it a bit towards whichever side the guitar is on and a bit closer to it. or, face the mic towards the guitar and have the violing coming in kind of from the side of the mic. good luck!
