This is called a piggyback window where I come from and its the cheapest replacement window out there. Most people don't like it and I would never recommend it.

I sure hope it never gets any colder than 32 f.... there sure will be moisture problems behind those thin vinyl strips,and then mold!! No insulation???!!! Sheesh!!!

NEVER Remove the window frame unless you do a complete stucco patch or you will get leaks

Aren't you going to remove the existing aluminum window frame for a tight clean fit? You can use our tool the "X-tractor" to pull it in one step. Search "Aluminum window removal"... it will make the job cleaner and more complete. Thanks.
