Well, I think that the person who made this video must be unaware that the image is, in its original form, a black & white image. Many people have added color to the image via photoshop or whatever over the years. There is no color original, so speculating on why Flammarion (or whomever it was that made the image) used gold, blue, or whichever color, is a bunch of nonsense.
Well, your comments are well taken. I put this together in a 2 week span as part of an art/depth psychology class. Just a few thoughts intended for later development. And yes, I know about the original woodcut, and the allusions to color are based on symbolic meanings from accepted sources. The original concept was to explore synchronicity, which required more time than I had. It is still in my "in progress" file. Thanks for your comment...
Thank you for your wonderful explanation of this beautiful work of art. I've looked for this as a print for a long time. You explain the deep meaning and symbolic alchemy so well. Peace to you and thank you for sharing your gifts with the world.
Gosh, I just saw this. I am not much on the comments end of things. Thanks. It was a brief introduction that I hope to return to with a more complete analysis. Thanks for your interest.
this image is more true than you can imagine...
