  • Nice video :) Exactly what I needed for a little heads up on my upcoming pocket door project. Thanks!

  • How did you manage to keep the drywall on one side of the wall when you took out the studs? I am thinking I will have to take off both sides of the drywall but of course the wife doesn't want me to.

  • @davidgarate It was a lot of work to keep up one side of the drywall, but I did not want to have to match the texture on the other side, knowing it would not be perfect. So I used a combination of a jigsaw and the Dremel Mulitmax tool. Cut up each 2x4 cutting as close to the drywall. and also using the dremel to cut each nail that was nailed into the 2x4 to hold the drywall on. • I really liked the explanation, very clear. Stupid.

  • Did you find a black monolith in the wall during demo?

  • Found your video looking for info on diy installation of pocket doors. LOVE it! I watched it twice and your music score was timed so perfectly! Really made me smile. thanks for posting!

  • @i8bugs1 Thanks for checking it out. First time playing around with making a video, lots of fun!

One thing you should learn when making a video is how to name it. This isn't a remodel guide, it's "playing with pocket doors".
