Interesting video. The English/French indicates that it is for retail in Canada as well as the US. I have an unboxing video of the same bundle, however my bundle was WAY different. The PSP was White, the instruction manual was in the box (not the instruction pack) and several other odds and ends. Neat to see the difference (and inconsistency) in the two bundles of the "same" game/movie.

Hi Tvandlust! I have a question about the 3000. I'm looking into buying a PSP 3000 but before I deiced to do that. I was curious(may sound dumb) if you can log into your PSN account and message your friends that are on their PS3's ? And does it display a message under your user. Say if your friends send you a game invite, but they don't know that your logged into your PSP. So how would that work ? and one more. I've heard that you can make phone calls on the PSP 3000, is that true ? Thanks

@LISQIA The PSP-3000 can run Skype, so while it's not traditional phone calling, the ability is there if you're near a Wifi spot. As for PSN, it's quite limited on PSP. You can download games and play online under the same PSN ID as your PS3, but things like messages and friends are not shared between the systems.

We didn't get this bundle in Australia. We did get a nice blue PSP-3000 which came with the Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince game and a case.

The packaging for the US PSP bundles is huge, so I don't see why you don't get proper PSP cases for your games included. Our bonus games in the bundles are full copies, and our packaging for the bundles are smaller.

It has been the opposite for me. My fat ps2, psp 1000 and psp 2000 are still going strong with no problems whatsoever, which had made me think that the quality of Sony products was great (and it has been for those devices), but my ps3 60 gig had a problem no reading the disks and I had to send it to Sony to get it fixed. It works perfect now but it is the only console I ever had to get fixed.

The UMD reader on my PSP died on me also. There is always the option to install custom firmware if the UMD reader is giving you trouble. And no! I am no pirate, I buy tons of games anyway.

I've been waiting for a price-drop on the 3000 before I buy a new PSP.Here in Sweden the Hanna Montana bundle just dropped to 140$ which is dirt cheap to our standards. But... Hanna Montana? It would hardly be the pride and joy of my collection.

i got my psp1000 second hand when 2000 came out and i got king kong and dark stalkers. i recently got invisimals but what ive noticed is, there arent many decent games other than tekken5. lbp was such a dissapointment that ive lost hope in psp so i just buy umd movies.

Nice I'm still pretty happy with my metal gear PSP3000 bundle but that blue PSP looks pretty sharp. The nerd in me wants the camera even though I'd never use it. Metal gear bundle came with 4gb stick and a download voucher for that movie 2012 if I recall. Gamestop guy offered me 1$ for the metal gear UMD in cardboard slip, day of release.

The difference in the screen is that the one on the 3000 model is interlaced and the 2000 model is progressive. The reason for this is so that the 3000 model can play on standard definition televisions. that was one thing that was a bummer about the 2000 model is that the tv that you were playing on had to accept a 480p signal. the difference between the screens is noticeable, but not enough to really be an issue. looking forward to a invisimals review. I have been thinking about getting it.

The PSP 3000 can output composite and component cables. The 2000 can only output component... I think.

@goffmen Yeah, I might be able to do that. First impression is that it works pretty good, though the game itself is fairly light on content. Fun and unique, but not a whole lot there. So far, at least.
